Buying on Amazon (trying not to get linked by router)

I would like to have a buyer account on Amazon but don't want to get linked (I have a bad seller account). Shipping address and info is all changed and taken care of. IP and MAC addresses also taken care of. Only thing left to take care of is my Router. I would prefer not to buy a new router. If I am only buying on Amazon will they still log my router information? Is it possible for them to detect my default gateway? Am I ok to keep my router?

Why dont you use your old bad seller account originally if just for buying? I still use my suspended seller account to buy stuff but of course make sure your new stealth accounts are completely separated from this account.

Thanks ! I guess I could do that. On another note, how does Amazon track your router info? Is this only for sellers? Or do they track buyers also?

Well the way I see it is that the buyer and seller account are kinda one account.

I created a buyer account first then moved to selling on Amazon which registered half my buyer account details automatically as they are masters of knowing who you are and tracking you. Although my seller account was banned, I was still able to use my buyer account to buy stuff.

The stealth guide for Amazon goes into detail but to be honest they are very very good at detecting you so I played it safe and brought a dongle for my stealth Amazon account to make sure they couldn't link me. This is also used on a new laptop so again everything was new identity wise along with VCC and bank.

If your buyer account gets banned, your seller account gets banned. But not the other way around.
