Amazon Negative Balance... What happens after long time?
So here is my issue. Back in December of 2011 I was selling collectors edition video games. I had a buyer contact me asking me if I would agree to meet them for delivery because they were local. I did meet them. They paid through Amazon though because they wanted to use credit. It was $530.
A week later after I had withdrawn my funds, I got a message from Amazon saying they claimed I never shipped. Which is true, because I delivered where we met. Amazon refuses to believe me, and the buyer is claiming it never happened. I got hit with a negative $530 And my account closed.
I contacted Amazon many times, they don't care. They won't even listen to me. The cost me over 3k in collectors editions I got stick with because I was not able to make the profit back when they were profitable. I got completely screwed.
Now up until today I was getting an email randomly from Amazon telling me my account was negative and to fix my card on file. This went on about 1-2 times a month. Then today I got a different message. It said my outstanding balance is now past due. It gave me the option to pay online, or even wire transfer them. So this email is different than all the others. Now I wonder what to do.
Is Amazon known for turning people over to collection agencies? I have been just ignoring the emails like everyone else was suggesting on other forums. This new email has me wondering though. Has anyone else gotten this email, or have any experience as to what is going to happen? Should I continue to ignore these emails? Or will a collector be calling me soon?
Thank you for your time
