Default ⊗⊗⊗⊗ buyers on amazon?

I have a new account and received an order from the same guy who ordered from my old suspended account.

Totally different merchandise, toys previously and now car parts.

Do you think it is a coincidence or should I be concerned?

I recognize the name, his name is not common so the red flag went off in my head.

What do you guys think?

Did he cause any problems on your old account?

could be a coincidence, but honestly, this would be like a 1 in a million chance that the EXACT same guy is ordering from you on two separate accounts.. especially in such different item categories.

We all have thought (I'm sure), 'I wonder if an old friend or someone I know will show up on an order one day'.. well, it doesn't happen. And the likelihood that some random guy has ordered from you twice in this scenario, is just as rare of a situation.

I can't imagine what he is trying to pull though, but it's very odd to say the least.

It is hard to say, because it COULD be a quirky coincidence. You could also be mistaken about this being the same person. Check the new address against your shipping records. The name may be more unique than most, but you COULD be dealing with 2 different people here. Most uncommon names are not SO UNCOMMON that only ONE exists.

The next alternative would be that this person has it out for you and somehow knew it is YOU that is operating the new account. But with a different name and selling different products, I don't see how this is possible.

The last thing I could think of is this is some sort of an Amazon operation where they order something you are selling to make sure everything is Kosher, so to speak. But I don't see them doing this as it would cost a fortune and they would probably catch relatively few of the "bad apples".

Stalkers on Amazon!? Your customer retention plan should be a case study at Harvard business school.

Have you ship out the order? And have it been delivered already?

Things that make you go "hmmmm..." It's a longshot but look up this guys address and phone number if it is there. See if it comes from an AZ office building.
