Default Anybody ever accidentally used two of the same labels?

Stupid mistake on my part, but I just noticed on a 2 piece shipment I accidentally used the "1 of 2" UPS shipping labels on both boxes. So both boxes have the same label on them.

I cant be the only fool to have ever done this and Im hoping that this will get through UPS with no problems???

These were dropped off and I'll stop by UPS tomorrow to talk to the clerk to see what happens in this case or maybe he realized the mistake when he went to go scan them and put one on the side(if it would of created a problem). Either way Ill be losing sleep over this.

Yes, I would guess they would just flow though and I might be double charged but there is no way of tracking that second package. I'll be losing sleep as its a high value shipment.

Time will tell but hope it works out for you - if there is no tracking on the 2nd package, it is what it is - speak to UPS - is it within the US? Not international?

Maybe not quite as bad.....

I often have x2 parcels consignments.

Yes, we had a mis-label like you described.

For once, the clerk was efficient.

2nd parcel was sorted correctly before despatch.

Are you otherwise covered with tracking/insurance?

Thought he said there is no way of tracking the second package?

Um..... I was asking is the WHOLE consignment covered even though the boxes may be mislabelled?

I thought 'otherwise' indicated that.

OP says there is a high value involved so my hope was he took all precautions to cover himself....

Obviously one of us should polish up on rocket science.

Report back if you learn anything.

I will too.

Generally, I would be at a lost.......
I did not get a receipt, so UPS has no record of them even getting the "second" package. My hope is that their scanners through an alert when the clerk received the second package and placed it on the side for me if it would of created a problem. If not, I hope UPS has a policy for cases like this.

UPS CS says 2nd package will get there just that I would be double billed. Im good with that. I will stop by the drop off location just incase the clerk pulled it to the side.
