How to remove the two week holding period?
 

I have been selling for two months now, getting positive feedbacks and ship orders on time. But I still getting paid every two weeks. What should I do to remove that two week holding period?? :juggle:

Is that pro merchant account or just individual account?

Pro merchant = 2 week
Individual = 1 week

That is weird, wait for other expert to help. All my individual account get pay every week

Sounds like you have a Pro Merchant account... On Sellers Center page.. Click on payment summary ....then near total balance their is a link for upcoming payment schedule. This will tell you the dates you'll be paid. If you have an individual account the payment will be every 7 -8 days.... if its every two weeks then Pro Merchant... You can opt out of the Pro Merchant account and bring it back to individual

If you sign up for an individual account and upgrade to pro merchant, you can go back to individual account anytime.

But if you sign up for the pro merchant from the start up, there is no way you can turn that pro merchant account to an individual account.

At least in my two case

If there not stealth accounts i would contact seller support.... If they are i would wait for the heavy hitters on this sight to chime in

Did you pay $40 fee at the account setup time? Or pay per sale?

I am sure I have the individual account, I didn't subscribed to anything or pay anything upfront.

Issues can be that fact you have a newer account.

amazon got tighter on disbursements.

Also going to depend on what category you sell.

High risk may see amazon hold off letting you get or change disbursements.

Never anything about a rolling reserve ?

OP can you clarify your first post. Are you getting a bank transfer only once in 2 week period or are you getting bank transfer every week but only for orders shipped 2 weeks ago. In other words for individual acct you will have a 2 week rolling reserve (a bank transfer every week but for orders 2 weeks old). It can be VERY confusing when you first look at it but if you look at the statement page and compare it to your detail transactions it starts to make sense.

I remember the good old days on my first AZ account when it was paid out every day! It seems to be a law of physics... seller happiness will deteriorate over time.

Sorry for the confusion! I meant I got bank transfer every week, but only for the order shipped 2 weeks ago. Do you know how to remove this rolling reserve thing ? Thanks!

I checked I have an individual account and have to wait2 weeks, it's my real account and I opened up in February but as it started to pick up with sales my ebay accounts exploded so I laid off amazon till this month , but I have a seller rating of 100 and everything Is in great standing, would it be ok to call in or is it like ebay where I should just take it as it comes

Just got one of my new individual account going.

Not waiting 3 weeks to get pay
No rolling reserve

Get pay every week and for the total of that week.

Sold more than 1K first week, got paid after 7 days and no review as of yet

Yeah Tony good for you. But really must be some kind of glitch in the system which is very rare for AZ - not like eb where you get random glitch all the time. Normally is no way to take off rolling reserve on individual account (unless you have old account from before 2011).

Are you sure you dont get the $39.95 pro account? With that account they would issue your payment on friday like you desccribe.

I started selling on one amazon account back in February than stopped completely in the beginning of July until a week ago on an individual account.

I made 9 sales in 2 days and when I looked at the payment schedule the whole amount was in 21 days. I just noticed today that it all changed and now the $700 in sales is divided into the next 3 disbursement dates where before the first two weeks we're $0

Maybe they wanted to wait and see if I shipped everything on time since I haven't sold anything in 3 months

So now it's a lot better than receiving nothing until the last week of October

I do everyweek but no luck :)
