Weird amazon message about review and suspension at same time
Message says: Quote:

| It says selling privileges removed at same time says account is in review. meaning its possible i can get account reinstated. How long does these kinds of reviews last? |

Wide variety of time lines but expect automatic resolution - whether positive or negative in about 14 days give or take - not all accounts get reinstated however. Preparing a good appeal report can help... |

What's happened is that your account went under review first and after that they have made a decision that it has failed the review process.
It may be that you were linked if this was a stealth account or Amazon did not like your selling practices. I.e items you were selling. If they are high risk items that are susceptible to counterfeits this could also be a reason.
These reviews can last anything from a few days to a few weeks.
You should appeal, however expect the worst. It is very unlikely Amazon reinstates an account once selling privileges have been removed.
My advice is to move on and make a new stealth account. |

| Yes, but they didnt put money on 90 day hold. they are saying they are reviewing my account. At same time they say selling privelleges removed |

| I havent yet. it is similar to that but just i havent received any email saying account has been reinstated yet.
I wanna know how long it takes to do such a review. should be quick? |

This happened to me, 3 weeks later i put in the appeal to give business info they were asking as per help topic link in that email and also blew some smoke up there backside...
Result - permanent suspension.
Prepare for the worse. I wouldn't appeal based on that fact that two UK stealth's, one being mine, have appealed and lost the account.
You cannot withdraw the money so in affect they have already suspended the account from selling and the money is on hold. You can wait and hope for the best to see if it passes the review in about 30 days time or less but you might get the email of death from Amazon telling you about a permanent suspension. |

1) you got a message saying your selling privileges were removed but in description of message it said you account is in review? right?
2) how long did it take to get message saying your selling privileges have been reinstated after that message? |

Just a question to those guys who got this message. Can you tell me how long it took you to get the follow up to this email, you know about whether account will be reinstated or not...
I know normal reviews take upto 30 days. But this is a different type of review where they suspend your account first. I only know this:
1) steven0 got reinstated in 2 hours
2) And another amazon user stated in amazon forums he was reinstated in less than 5 hours |

But I expected them to give me an answer within like 5 hours but that didnt happen. So thats why am asking some people who this did happen to before. How long it took them |

| My best advice for dealing with Amazon is to always give them ONLY what they are asking for. NEVER ELABORATE unless they ask you to. It is like testifying in court - any extra information you give them can only be used against you.
Also, never use any type of humor when giving them a business plan. Be apologetic for any problems and prepare a reasonable plan so that it does not happen again. Of course, this applies to customer service, shipping issues, possible mis-described condition of used items, etc. If they suspect you are selling counterfeits, or that it is a stealth account, then nothing you do will help, the account is toast. |
