Tax ID / EIN Number Question

I have a questions about EIN numbers and the process of getting back onto Amazon.

If I register as a sole proprietor and create a new EIN number with the IRS, using a business name and a new street address, will that be enough?

It was my understanding that Amazon will only contact the IRS to make sure that the business name and the street address match. But I'd like to be sure.

Any thoughts appreciated.

For the TAX question, yes it will be enough. For stealth account, no you need alot more than that.

Does amazon also check the street matches too??? I know paypal just matches the business name on Paypal with the DBA u gave with the EIN

I just started selling. Well I started back in February but sold very lite maybe 25 item from feb to June and I picked up last month and had to give a tax I'd , so they are really strict with getting that id,

I know about the virtual credit card and the long list of other things. I just wasn't sure with the tax ID / EIN part is using a business name and having a different street address would be enough for that stage of the process.

They do not check address

Company name and EIN number

Nothing else

Thanks for responding. Do you mean that Amazon checks the company name and verifies the EIN number, but nothing else?

I'm having the same question, by using NEW address and NEW business name can Amazon see the ownership of Corporation? after I fill out all the information for Tax interview
