Phone Number Verification

OK, i think i know answer but, just want to know other members experiences here.

When i open a new stealth Amazon account, if i use a virtual landline number with the same dialling code location as the stealth address, my stealth account is usually suspended ranging from a few hours to a day or so.

Open a new stealth account, using a PAYG mobile number, account stays open.

So iam guessing they check phone records?
What do you guys here use virtual phone number or PAYG number?

Have you not just answered the question. I use PAYG and no problems so far

Am I reading this right? AZ does a background ownership check on phone #?

Just changing old # won't cut it, if old # is just changed, but registration is with old banned company?

I doubt they check phone records per say....more likely that someone else has used that number so it is flagged...
