| bmwe46zhp | 01-12-2014 01:18 AM | What is the max you can sell on amazon? I signed up for merchant account on amazon. I have 6,000 items listed. Is there a max of total sale you get a month like on ebay? I`m assuming so thats why people have multiple accounts of amazon? Are merchant accounts ok on stealth amazon accounts? |
| jeffweico | 01-12-2014 02:55 AM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? When you say you signed up for a merchant account, do you mean that you signed up for Amazon payment processing for your website, or that you signed up for a Pro-Merchant seller account? |
| bmwe46zhp | 01-12-2014 10:06 AM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? Thanks for the reply. I signed up for the pro merchant. It's seems like I was able to list many items bring in a lot of money. I guess what I'm trying to find out or understand. Do people have multiple accounts for amazon? Is it needed? Ebay yes you need many accounts because they limit you on how many items you can list and amount. |
| MICKY H | 01-12-2014 10:08 AM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? If you sell to fast, your account will go into review or even suspended. Just take it slow over a few months. |

| bmwe46zhp | 01-12-2014 11:26 AM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? Any dollar amount or item amount you recommend to stay under? |
| MICKY H | 01-12-2014 01:09 PM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? There is not set limit, thats the problem. If you sell FBA there are no restrictions.
The important thing is get feedback quickly and keep the metrics in green |
| bmwe46zhp | 01-13-2014 01:37 AM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? Well, it seems much easier just to do business in amazon then ebay. ebay has such small limits. with amazon I just need to keep switches ip and users just as you do with ebay, correct? and keep the zip code in the 50 mile radius of the ip. Can you use auctiva to list items in to mulitple amazon accounts? Not really sure how the while auctiva deal works, but it is easier then loggin out and flipping ip and users is it not? |
| jeffweico | 01-13-2014 04:52 PM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? Be CAREFUL with Amazon! Yes, it is true they do not have pre-determined limits the way that eBay does. However, if you are selling in large volumes, especially as a new seller, your account will be reviewed. If they deem you a risk to Amazon, then your account will be closed.
If your products are all legitimate and low-risk, then go ahead and see what happens. My best guess is you will get hit with the 30 day review - which is not a bad one - where they are going to look at your account over a 30 day period. They will be looking for tracking numbers, on time delivery, timely answers to customer inquiries, returns and refunds, seller professionalism, and risk. During the 30 day review, they will hold your money.
The nice thing about the 30 day review is that once you PASS, you are less likely to lose the account suddenly. NO, it is NOT set in stone at that point, there is ALWAYS the risk of losing an account, but the risk is LOWER. So, many sellers try to sell enough to trigger th review, then tone it down a bit until the hold is removed. |

If one go down they still have others to recover the lost.
eBay you don't lost the money that you sold but Amazon it may happen at anytime. |

| nebuspp | 01-18-2014 02:07 AM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? I've sold $200k in 1 month on a stealth account open less than 6 months. As long as you got all your ducks in a row, go nuts selling after a few dozen positive FB and after 1 month. Just be prepared to pass the seller reviews as you will go through a few and keep getting good feedback and no claims. If your stealth is not made properly, there are links to bad accounts, or your inventory is shabby, your account will go down fast selling at this sort of volume. |
| bmwe46zhp | 01-18-2014 10:32 PM | Re: What is the max you can sell on amazon? -What are the sellers review? do they ask you questions? or they just look at it at make sure it looks good by keeping up etc as you were saying?
-What do you mean by inventory is shabby?
Worse case if account is shut down they release the funds in 90 days correct?
-I can use vanillla gift card with $40 on it to see up the pro-merchant account right? I was thinking about using one of my credit cards with a zip code that matches the made up address.
Thanks mate |

Thanks mate | During a seller review, they hold your funds and closely watch your account while allowing you to remain selling. Sometimes, they close your listings and ask for supplier info and other questions about your business practices. Sometimes, they restrict your account for a reason they will tell you (and sometimes they don't tell you) and ask you to write an appeal within a certain amount of days to get your account back up and running.
By inventory is shabby, I mean your customer feedback and returns will show how good your product is. If you have multiple bad feedback or claims saying your product is bad or accusations of it being ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or counterfeit, then that account is likely to go down unless you can provide Amazon a damn good explanation.
If your account gets shut down and your appeal is not granted, then yes, you will get your funds in 90 days. However, I have read about people whose accounts were deleted off of Amazon and funds disappeared...I'm not sure how legitimate those claims are though.
Vanilla Visa gift card is the way to go...I haven't used one in the recent months but when I did create accounts, it worked like a charm.
Hope this info helps! |
