Just appealed and revised another AZ claim

I Just appealed and revised another AZ claim last week.

- Sold a used iPhone 5 it self and no accessories with it. I clearly said that in the condition note
- Buyer want all the accessories and just opened an AZ claim.
- I contact buyer and provided the packaging slip and the screenshot of the order detail page in my seller account (with the condition note highlight)
- Buyer reply that he happy with the phone. (Buyer CAN'T read the condition note of the item after buy it)
- So I represent my AZ case with amazon and explain that the list clearly said it was for the phone only, no other accessories included. And buyer is happy with the item.
- Just 5 minutes later got email from Amazon that the case was closed and buyer grant for a refund and I'm responsible for that happen. WTF????????
- I contact buyer again and explain to him that he either return the phone or contact Amazon to release the money so I can get paid for what I sold.
- Buyer confirm that he want to keep the phone and willing to pay for it.
- I ask him to contact Amazon and let them know that.
- The buyer is nice enough to email Amazon and want to pay for what he buy.
- I appeal my AZ claim and provide all the email from buyer happy, agree to pay for what he buy.......
- Amazon contact buyer and ask for buyer authorize to charge his credit card again
- Buyer reply that he authorized it
- Got email from Amazon that the fund available

All that emails, communication take less then 3 hours whewwwwww

Fell so happy today.

You are lucky that you had a nice buyer, sounds like he could have made off with a free iphone if he was unethical.

That sounds like alot of work.
Im glad it worked out for you.

You earned every penny of profit that you made on that deal.

It is always nice to see a WIN for the sellers.

Such a crazy system. In what world is it ok to send the buyer a full refund ($500+) for a missing cable. Are these even real people who make these decisions.

Why don't buyer just message OP about accessories instead opening A-Z claim?? I think that the problem... It just way too easy to open up an A-Z claim then even it is bogus still kills your metrics. At least on eBay they force the buyer to contact seller first to work things out. That the one thing I like about eBay. At least you get a chance to correct issue before it screws the DSR metrics.

It is because usually the Buyers are contacting Amazon CS. They are trained to hit the A-to-Z button before anything else. CS doesn't care what pain they are causing onto Sellers or the Metrics. They get paid either way.
