Iphone questions including vista tethering problems

Looking into an iphone would you be able to run 2 amazon accounts on it one on wireless and one on 3g or 4g? New to smartphones.

I wouldnt - too much chance of linking - cookies, browser fingerprinting, etc. - use a laptop/desktop for multiple accounts

Yes you can tether it, as long as you keep on changing the ips.

so basically in short only use the iphone for the 3g to tether to another computer. do not start an ebay or amazon account on the phone itself. just use the 3g gate way.

have vista x64 bit os on a toshiba laptop. cant get iphone 4s to tether. t will mount to pull photos and stuff but cant get it to show up as a network to use the 3g any sugestions. looked on line but came up with nothing.

What tethering program are you using? Some programs use wifi directly while others use a direct connection to your phone.

I tether via the USB port. Never had a problem on vista.

Oh my, never mind, I read your post too fast. You tether via the USB Port.

I need to know the name of the tethering program that you use and if your iphone is "jailbroken".

No tethering program needed. Vista recognizes the USB as a network connection. Verizon iphone 4 no jailbreak.
