Hello everyone, Yesterday i tried logging into my account and to my surprise i couldnt log in even after resetting the password 1000 times. Account had 100% feedback and everything was in order.I Have over £3000 in the account and had no bank account details in the settings. I am sh***ing my self. Has this happened to anyone and will i get the funds ever. Thank you

Many posts about this. Sadly, if you're account is deleted, there is no way to recoup those funds.

You can try ringing Amazon to see if there is anything can be done.

Additionally, this should be a wake up call to not have so much money tied up into 1 single account.

Create multiple accounts!!!

Don't have all your eggs in this one basket.

With Amazon do they delete accounts that are selling legit products or is it only people selling f@kes? Looking to us FBA for large items but dont want to be losing stock etc

The general consensus is they only do this to accounts selling those specials from China.

Are you 100% sure that i wont get the funds back as im not going to give up.I will do whatever possible to get my money and im sure i will get it

Sorry to hear you bad news, unfortunately you have lost your account, your money and if you did FBA your stock. I guess your account is very new as you had no bank details applied to the account. Your account has been linked,your selling counterfeits, or amazon consider you a high risk selling so much in such a short time

Trust me nobody has received money from a deleted account. Yes I used a top law firm in Luxembourg (eu head office for amazon) spent close to £30k to recover a six figure sum and gave up. Like I said in an earlier post, amazon have a £1m to every £1 you have. The task is impossible.
If your account is deleted, turn over the page and start again. If done correct you soon make up your losses and the losses are tax deductible.

I had the same situation and eventually regained access to my account (and funds).
However, it was a situation as I still recieved orders that I could not fulfill because I had no access (however, my account was obviously still active !)

Does your password reset "work" ? (= you get an Email with a link and you can set your new password BUT login on sellercentral still doesn't work with either password)

If yes then it's the same situation as mine.

I tired to contact Amazon. They said only the SELLER Service can help me and I have to mail them and gave me a link to a form. However, to contact the SELLER Service you have to be logged in - except for one form (I think general enquiry or something) which you can fill out without being logged in. I had to search quite a while until I found it, unfortunately I don't have an exact link.

Make sure you contact the SELLER Service - the normal customer service is easy to reach but they can't do sh** - even if they tell you they forward it to the seller service, they don't (and probably can't) do anything.

Write them a message through this form, several if you want to.

I assume Amazon screwed up something in their system. The fact that it was exactly 2 (or 4 ?) weeks from when it first started seems to indicate that it may be some kind of "review" that caused you login trouble.

Seppi42, I wish I could believe your story, once an account is deleted its gone. Amazon never screw up. No one ever gets the money back and I have been here over 10 years on amazon.

Well, all I can say is that I experienced exactly what I discribed.

Maybe my situation was different though.
Did not sell in the US but on Amazon Europe.

As I said, I could reset the password "successfully" but still couldn't log in.
And I kept recieving orders and messages (and my listings also were still there).

Just over £100k and you have to give up. The original £30k spent on lawyers would have made £30k profit if stock was bought instead of lawyers fees. Amazon have excellent lawyers who can argue for months requesting details, questioning answers even before you can even get a Court date. In life you have to make hard decisions and commercially it was time to quit and use my energy to make money.

Bear in mind, amazon makes the rules.

When an account is created that is the acceptance of the seller to agree to their T&C.

This does not imply amazon are right.

Just move on, forget the £8k, not easy I know, but use the loss in your accounts and this reduce your tax liability. Basically amazon get the funds and not HMRC.

Really sad to hear of this practice Amz are using.

Does it make any difference if an account was stealth or real as to whether a greater chance of getting the funds back?

Also, does a deletion usually come immediately after the initial suspension email or after waiting the 90 days?

Hi eBay King, no stealth or real make no difference.

No from my experience the account is either deleted or suspended from the outset. If suspended you can always appeal. Deleted accounts you cannot access the account. Deleted accounts usually happen to people who sell counterfeit items,people opening accounts time and time again and getting linked and fraudulent transactions.

It's heart breaking to hear your answers but that money was all i had. Today i received an email from payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk.

Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,

Thank you for writing to us. Due to the status of your account your funds are reserved until we are sure all items have shipped and no A-z Guarantee claims are received against your account. Your account will be evaluated 90 days after the date of your account closure, which was 17.04.2014.

For enquiries regarding why your account was blocked, please contact seller-performance@amazon.co.uk.

“7. Notwithstanding the provisions of clause B.6.4, if we reasonably conclude, based on information available to us, that seller's actions and/or performance in connection with the Service may result in disputes, chargebacks or other claims, then we may in our sole and absolute discretion delay initiating any remittances and withhold any payments to be made or that are otherwise due to seller in connection with the Service or this Agreement for the shorter of: (a) a period of 90 days following the initial date of suspension; or (b) completion of any investigation(s) regarding any seller actions and/or performance in connection with this Agreement.”

You will get your money 90 days after your next disbursement date, this could make it 104 days. Sorry dude.

Mine was already passed the 90 days at point of closure (failed review 3 months ago, after it had already passed 2 previous reviews) - I could log into it as recently as 2 weeks ago (didnt check between then and payment date), seems they've deleted it just as the payout was due, very shady

But when just away from the payment date after waiting 90 days for your funds, they deleted your account?

Sadly Seppl42 - your info is incorrect - many of us have tried different ways...it is a failure in general.

But OP can keep trying and hope for some good news - slim chance
