Default Amazon Warning?

If a buyer account gets the warning email (we see some activity, we want to understand and help your experience on amazon be better). Does that mean the ax is coming?

Or does it mean you are safe as long as you stop doing whatever caused them concern like returns, refunds etc??

Also I read to always be nice and sorry. Never be negative.

Do you have to actually replay and explain each order? Or is this just a generic "we see you and you better stop now??" email?

Welcome to the forums - warning e-mail should not be taken lightly...you got lucky. Logically, you should NOT repeat the same mistake until you get resolved.

I would never take it lightly.

My q is what is my next step? How do I respond to them? Do I just ignore the email and be on "good behavior"?

Without knowing exactly what the OP did whether excessive returns or perhaps other "buying" issues, OP got warned by Amazon to stop doing such activity.

He got a warning instead of the ax.

Simply put, he should just stop doing such behaviour - no need to reply or say ANYTHING. In fact, replying COULD result in further action - best to keep quiet...and be on good behaviour

I am sorry for not being specific. Paranoia has hit, and I worry that if AZ check these boards, and I get specific they might link my AZ account and it might cause me more problems.

It really was a common issue that many buyer accounts get flagged for. And will never be done again as I want to keep my account!! Even if it means changing my shopping habits, and no longer buying stuff that might come in damaged via mail instead of buying that stuff at the store.

Many buyer accounts get flagged for...you mean you have this problem for many accounts of yours?

I have buyer accounts with no "common issues"....

Oh no!I have no multiple accounts!

I mean that when I got the email and begun to google I realized its a common problem that quite a few buyers accounts got banned or flagged for. Before, and due to the fact that CS never acted like it was a big deal, I assumed I was doing nothing wrong, or out of the ordinary.

I guess I woke up to a new world. I also read all the BS amazon has done to seller GOOD seller accounts. Never knew they did this. Thankfully I never sold on amazon.

Yes and the sellers on here ONLY got flagged/banned for scamming amazon and ebay right?

I wasnt scamming but I wont lie about it either, I might have been too picky and fast to complain. In my opinion considering the amount I purchase from amazon my complaints werent that bad but I guess they were bad enough according to AZ.

I am thankfully for my second chance.

Honestly, I really hate some buyers like you. I wish you got banned soon seriously. Sorry to say that but many of us ( sellers) have been down because of these kind of buyers. If you're too picky and like complaining, then buy them in-store, but do NOT take advantageous of Z-A claims to ruin someone's business.
If you think your money is huge and more important than everything, then keep it. DO NOT spend it.

It all of my years on AZ I never took out Z-A claim.

Actually I only had one issue with a merchant that e took care of outside of Z-A claims, it was when a seller sent me a totally different item. He right away admitted mistake and said he had someone helping and they mixed up to shipping labels. He said he already got a message from the person who got my item so I waited until he got it back and reshipped to me.

Not that it makes it better to do it to AZ itself and again. It wasnt a THAT often. If it was I am sure I would have gotten banned right away.

Certainly agree with ifox on this.
Buyers that complain so much seriously give me headaches on Amazon.
You are always just waiting for that negative feedback or a-z claim to come in from such buyers and it really gets on my nerves.
No matter how polite you are, even if I issue a refund AND send a new item, the customer still isn't happy.
