Warning to all sellers - Amazon Accounts under review due to feedback/volume?

Evening all,

I have been selling on Amazon for around a month now without any issues... until today when i got this email.

We are conducting a review of your account. During the review, a rolling reserve will be applied to funds in your account from your sales on Amazon.co.uk.

The reserve will be equivalent to your gross sales amount for the preceding 14 days. Based on your order volume, the amount of the reserve may change daily.

When your account balance exceeds the reserve amount, funds will be available per your disbursement schedule.

You can view your account balance, estimated payment schedule, and reserve amount on the Payments page in the Reports section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....t-summary.html).

Account reviews are intended to ensure the timely dispatch of orders and compliance with our selling policies. Please continue to fulfil orders and list only items that you are able to dispatch by the Expected Ship Date.

I have read this is caused by selling over the £750 mark/ not getting enough feedback (even though i have had no returns, cases, messages)

Such is a warning for all new users stealth or not.

What i ask now is what to do in this situation?
Do i ask buyers for feedback?
Do i keep selling?

Will i loose money (i have 350 being paid on the 12th and 400 ish is being held)?

This is normal for most of the new acc. 2 of my acc had happened. Just continue as normal and send items with tracking no and ask customers for feedback.Thanks

Really? I had read that it normally results in a ban! I have emailed all buyers that will have definitely received the item kindly asking them for feedback.

Reviewing based on feedback is a little silly really considering you would think no feedback (no complaining etc) means that the customer has got the product, is happy and of course has no reason to visit amazon to talk to you.

Such is a seamless sale, the best kind of sale, yet it appears having no feedback is damaging on Amazon.

I am also aware that i have gone over the 750 pound mark which seems to be an issue on Amazon, why?

this is nothing new. if u have nothing to hide continue selling and asking customers for feedback. you will pass review as long as you don't have any major issues

its completely normal for a new account to get a review.sell normal but only list what you can fulfil without issues.if you get a few feedbacks it will end itself in 2 weeks .if not then max 1 month is what ive seen.

A mentioned this is thing to be concerned about. However you do need to increase your feedback and make sure you stay within amazons required metrics. Do that and you will be fine.

Seems like amazon is up to their old tricks again! I have several accounts with a low threshold of sales and low dollar amount sitting they keep pushing back the first transfers to start with then as son as you put your check info in the throw he account into review! The site is a joke as a selling platform no money to be made to many bogus reviews so they hg can get their bottom dollar up. Anyone thins that this is mall part of business and amazon can do what they want they go tread in the amazon for a while it has become very obvious that amazon will not be a viable source of income down the road! Been selling since they started and let me tell you the fat lady sang gams on is not a money machine anymore they made surely it even with mega stealth accounts it's ridiculousness. Now my opinion. Just wait and see have to use different selling venues a mason is not cutting it anymore to much time wasted waiting a damn month for payment only to be thrown in review I smell scamazon !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the account is in great standing (or so i believed).

I dispatch everything the next day and do so by first class recorded delivery where the item normally arrives the next day.

I think the issue is that i sold more than 750, have little feedback (now have three since last night), and sell in a high risk category (DVD).

It does seem however slightly so coincidental that Amazon appear to just 'reserve' funds when payments are near.

I would say that selling on Amz needs extra special tolerance, skill, risk and plain luck sometimes. Emphasis is on the "risk" part, as it is true, they hold lots of money until pay day.

But, if you can get in the groove with their way of doing business, there is still options to make loads of money...

Lots of money to made on amazon, do it right and you have no problems. Reviews are to protect amazon from losing money. If you don't like there methods move to another platform, pretty simple really.

I thought that much but also thought that i would advise others of such.

Is there anything i can do at this point in time to help the review (par asking for feedback from those who will have received the item)?
