Default Sellers selling mass volume BIN VERO only to get taken down!?!

I have never been able to work out these sellers on ebay...

I am sure you have all noticed these sellers who sell mass amounts of VERO items, whether it be shoes/sunglasses/watch etc.

Most of the time start they with zero feedback and always dropship their stuff from China. They often often sell 10, 100 even 1000’s of pcs before the listing either gets taken down or all the items are sold.

Does anyone have any idea why they would want to do this, there must be benefits for them as they literally just set up more and more accounts. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is someone based in the UK that is doing this...

Don’t get me wrong, I am not thinking of doing this as from what I can see it is a complete waste of time, just wondered if anyone had any ideas why they do this... I just cannot see how it would work?

"Does anyone have any idea why they would want to do this?"

To make money maybe? or if not that, then they must be doing it just to put on a funny show I would assume.

Haha, just read what i just wrote, yeah obviously to make money lol!

How though, do they burn and turn accounts just to wait for a 180 day hold then transfer to bank account then start again. They must be able to get bank accounts so easily...

There is one guy who sells who i sometimes watch who sells watches he must make £100 profit per item and sells about 30 in a week then gets the listing removed, then just starts all over again. To me sounds it sounds a waste of time but i suppose it must be lucrative!

To be honest these guys really piss me off as they completely flood the market...

Yeah I would assume they do piss you off but you won't find how they do that here, those methods aren't spoken of here, those are more advanced methods that no ones going to tell you about, unfortunately : /

Yeah, I guess the method they use is fairly advanced, I have had a few ideas but never fully understood how. I suppose if anyone knew they would never share how they did it! You never know maybe its somebody from the forum.... lol

Either way they are making a killing!

There is major planning involved in these things. I've actually been studying these guys and they make their accounts like a year in advance. They start off listing over 100 items in a BIN where usually they limit you to less than 50 ect with 0 feedback.

I agree, there is definately major planning involved. They are all over 1 year old accounts, the only way round it I reckon is to just sell as must as possible on a few BIN's at one time and take one VERO hit from ebay and hope they do not get suspended or limited on PP. I'd thought they would then get asked for invoices and banned either way.

Hmmmm.....

another thing which sort of amazes me is their ability to get ranked in the 1-5th spot in very competitive searches with absolutely no selling history and beat top rated sellers on the same price.

I think that is to do with the amount they sell in such a short period of time.

Say they are selling 50pcs per day per listing, ebay must have a system which places their listing in a higher spot than a top rated power seller who only sells 5pcs per day per listing... You can see that the sales speed up drastically once they are in the 1-5th spot in searches though!

Common sense tells me there is a good few $ bills involved - some are in it just for those $ bills - me, I sort people out with proper stuff at bargain prices - everyone happy, eb, pp, buyer and me - not lost a single account since I 'got wise'.

You never know, it could be workers at eBay themselves? Don't think this has not happened before. They make everything up, even the account date creation, remove the listings themselves via a Vero storyline. Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "insider trading"...
