Default Sometimes Amazon can't make up their mind.

Setup a new stealth account on Amazon.com. Its been about 6 years since I did this so I wanted to see how the game had changed. Phone verified and CC verified. I uploaded about 6300 products. All stuff under $20. Low impact/ risk category. And we were live. I didn't add a bank account. The next day I got 2 emails. The first one said I was selling items against amazon policy and the second one said i was linked to another closed account. Both said your account is suspending indefinitely. Whatever. Only thing that could have linked me was the URL's for the images in my feed file. They're from a fairly public website and I had used them before on a banned account. I appealed it with a bs reason that I won't post here because I'm sure there are Amazon staff trollers.

Either way the next day I get 2 emails again. The first one says we've re-instated your account on a 14 day rolling reserve and the second one says the same but with a 28 day rolling reserve.

All this is rather humorous to me. I didnt need 4 emails. I really don't even care that much but its like someone back there is pushing buttons and sending a flurry of mis-information out.

Thats my story.

Keep in mind the original emails are computer generated, so it's just the "KILL" program at work.

The second set is after a person (Amazon flunkie) looks at it, checks their reference book, and makes a decision.

6300 products listed on start up is risky though, cause they can "KILL" your account for selling too much.

Best of luck.

Slow and steady!

Never open an account and list that much product right off the bat.

Amazon cardinal sin

If you re-used the pictures, did you also reuse the products ? (e.g. sell the same (or some) products you had on offer on a closed account ?)

That might have been your link !

They cannot.

Disney Frozen items are an example.

I purchased stacks of Disney Frozen items, had close to 1000 dolls, dresses etc from making several trips to Disney and Disney Store to buy and sold like 20-30 of each a day on Amazon.

then one day Amazon stops all Disney Frozen items from being sold until they investigate the phakes from the real ones.

I was told on my original account I was ok to sell them.

One a few of my ghost they said no. Just tested one this morning on my inventory where it used to state blocked, it now says inactive etc.

Added 10 to my inventory and sold 4 already.

They cannot make up their minds from one day to the next.

Sandy,

Amazon loves playing favorites, especially if they think you're a big corporate joint. Those thugs can get away with ANYTHING. If your OK account has been a good little bee with no violations, they might pass it over and let you sell some things that other accounts can't sell.
