Default Amazon policy warning

Hi, I got this email from Amazon from my multiple stealth accounts

Quote:
Hello,

We are writing because you may have violated our policies by confirming an order prior to shipping any portion of the order to the buyer.

Per our policies, sellers may only confirm shipment of an order after sending all or some portion of the customer’s order.

For more information on this policy, search on “Charge When Ship” in seller Help.

Note that failure to comply with our policies may result in the removal of your Amazon.com selling privileges.

We appreciate your cooperation and thank you for selling on Amazon.com.

Regards,

Seller Performance Team
Amazon.com

But I don't do things of this sort. I usually ship on the same or the next day, and I don't scam people by not shipping. It might be possible that I print a shipping label on Friday and ship on Monday but it is a weekend! Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks

They could be trying to build a false report on your account so that they can point to something later on.

This is happening a lot I hear on the forums. Sellers are doing nothing wrong, yet receive these false messages.

Has this been logged in the notifications section of your account as a violation?

I wouldn't respond to this ULESS you get another notice. If that happens, respond and DENY that you are doing this. Ask them for an example so that you can figure out what happened. Let them know that you are VERY CONCERNED about it. Don't send them an email dripping with attitude. You want them to believe that you are upset by the allegation, but that you want to cooperate with them to clear up any misunderstanding.

In this thread, only you are talking about what turned out to be a glitch.

We have a false notification from:

hulkman - talking about a 1% defect rate, when they did not go over 1%

and we have a false notification from:

nerecit - talking about a shipping defect, when they did not violate this either

So, that is 2 x violations reported in the forums sent to them by Amz, but on both occasions they did nothing wrong.

This could be a glitch, but could more likely a false record is being created by Amz. It was not proven it was a glitch.

We have to think outside of the box with these strange violation messages sellers are receiving.

Could be a glitch, could be a false record, we do not know for sure.

Why would amazon do this, they have no need, if they don't like you and bye bye.

Perhaps someone who has one of these notices post it on the website with their metrics and we can see the proof.

Difficult to tell with Amazon but like jeffweico stated, don't take action at this point - hopefully no further issues

Tell me this then.....

Why are you the only user advocating a false record report?

Have you had any issues?

I agree 1000% on thinking outside the box.

No fecking way should an urban myth be created in the first instance though.

Hmm, I do this all the time. Create the shipping label then sit on it for up to 4 days while i'm waiting for product to come in. Haven't been caught yet

Three years ago when my Amazon(legit, still active) account was new I received a false report saying I was selling items I did not plan on shipping(canceling orders). That 100% not true as I had not a single order canceled.

My account was brand new, Im pretty sure I even created a thread for suggestions :/ I contacted Amazon and they told me the same thing as the warning, I must ship orders.

My first sale was around Aug/sep. I got the warning on Oct 12, and must of only sold 10 items.

If you asked me then, I would of swore they were trying to find a reason to ban me!

I still have it under my messageing

We have a third member with a false report: user3657 - mentioning shipping defects, but they did nothing wrong.

I have had no issues yet with this personally, but it is naive to think that Amz are doing this unintentionally.

No urban myths are being created, just suggestions as to what it could be. That is why I used the word "could" in theories into this behaviour by Amz.

If I am the only member putting this theory forward, that is no reason to throw the theory out completely.

So, you just think it is all just a glitch... ok.

I agree with MICKY H. Anything is POSSIBLE, of course, but Amazon can get rid of you at any time for any reason. So I don't see what they would gain by doing this.

True, but then we also have to consider also why are they doing this. Do you think it is a glitch or something else?

Who has received a false warning on an aged account? Were all false warnings new accounts right before the busy season?
