Default Hit the AZ Lottery

After getting suspended with the usual "C" email, AZ actually let me appeal requesting the invoices. 10 days later, they actually reinstated the account.
Quite the surprise.

Now we are working forward with the thinking of 1 week at a time and always are expecting an account to go down.

Being reinstated by amazon is like winning more than a free ticket on a scratcher

That really is the only way you CAN look at it. At a minimum, the account is now subject to higher scrutiny.

I have had a couple of Amazon accounts reinstated, one went down 3 days later and the second one took a couple of weeks, but it also went down. There were no customer complaints that I was aware of - but they COULD HAVE complained to Amazon directly. Of course, we will never know exactly what it is specifically that kills an account.

My suggestion would be to make more accounts now, if you have not done so already.

Yeah if you care about this account I'd try get some stock into fba and get those metrics down. They reinstate you but as others have said they soon take it away if you're odr isn't going down quick enough

This happens more often than people might think, and Amazon does not let you know directly. When you read their email and it says stuff like "it has come to our attention", that means a nasty buyer emailed them directly.

it not a lottery, if you write and professional email you have a very good chance of getting your account back.

I've been suspended a few times and ALWAYS able to get reinstated once they read my appeal email.

Me too!

Write a very professional letter and have some other people proof read it and make suggestions. You only have one shot at an appeal so you better make it good.

Maybe all of these people who say you can never win an appeal just haven't wrote a very professional letter.

as serious as a heart attack. i was suspended twice last year on same account and got it back both times! second time i received a call from amazon and spoke to a rep. few minutes later reinstated...

research amazon forums they good letters there that give u an idea. i read through probably 100 letters then put mine together and I've been using it since with minor modifications each time for each account with 100% success rate so far on first suspension.

what were the reasons for the suspension? I suspect the reason behind the actual suspension plays a huge part in the success rate.

That's why I said lottery. Suspension was for possible phakes.

Told them I had all of our receipts, AZ asked for them surprisingly, and a week after submitting the invoices, they reinstated.

Don't know if this is easier in Canada but it sure shocked the crap out of me.

When I was a newbie to selling on the internet, my personal Amazon account got suspended twice, after appealing the suspension my account always got reinstated. After that I ditched using my main account and switched over to stealth accounts. Make sure you always have a back up account!

Aha right I didn't read that part about it being for phakes. In that case you really did win the lottery.
