| adventureman89 | 01-11-2015 04:30 PM | Amazon Stealth and FBA? Is it safe to run the FBA option with Amazon on a Stealth account? What happens if it gets suspended in the future for something stupid. Thanks. |
| RosieTosie | 01-11-2015 07:09 PM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? If a stealth account does get suspended and it is using the full FBA service then the stock that is away in the warehouses is lost obviously, Amazon are not going to return it, that is a risk that needs to be taken into account, but of course there are different levels of FBA, it has always seemed to me however that it is an all or nothing scenario using the FBA service, the full benefits of it can only be achieved by using the full capabilities of Amazon to despatch and track the orders |

| adventureman89 | 01-12-2015 01:51 AM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? Okay maybe stupid was the wrong word. I mean if it accidentally gets linked. Or just something out of my control. |
| alekov | 01-12-2015 01:30 PM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? I currently have a stealth account under suspension, with huge amount of FBA inventory. It wasn't linked, it is under suspension for being accused of selling counterfeit. I am appealing it and providing receipts, so hopefully it will get reinstated, but who knows with Amazon.
Currently, I can still fulfill orders from my FBA stock, and I believe I can recall my FBA stock back. Haven't attempted it, but seeing how they are allowing me to use FBA stock to fulfill other sales generated from other channels, I assume it wouldn't be a problem.
Not sure if this answers your question, maybe there would be a difference if your account got shut down for being stealth account, vs. another issue.. |

Stock may not be released on that basis.

| adventureman89 | 01-13-2015 06:43 PM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? The EIN is definately an option. I'm guessing that would make it a stronger account. |

Do you currently have a real address? | Yes, not personal but using friend's address as a return address. I still can't imagine receiving a small warehouse worth of boxes back. Where the hell am I going to put it, and then selling it, such a huge headache! I have hundreds of thousands locked in this inventory as well. I know, pretty stupid thing to do, should've research it beforehand... |
| REFLECT | 01-16-2015 02:22 PM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? I had 2 suspended account and all my FBA inventory was returned. All you need to do is make a REMOVAL ORDER. You can use any address to receive your items back. This was all last month and last week. |

| oracle | 01-18-2015 07:37 PM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? You should be able to do a removal order straight away. |
| user3657 | 01-19-2015 02:51 AM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? OP needs to keep inmind there is difference between suspended and deleted.
suspended=you can remove at anytime.
deleted=you can no longer access anything in your account.
Which one will you get? Its up to the dice with amazon. |

Wow that a huge amount of stock! You are going to have major problems if that does get shipped back to you, and I'm thinking this might be a sharp learning curve for others with ghost accounts and similar amounts of stock in FBA! |

Your taking a big risk, if Amazon deletes the Account you lose everything, get the inventory back
You can always set up stealth accounts with Amazon and eBay and move the inventory , so that is not a problem, but if the inventory is lost , that could be a huge issue for you.
I wouldn't worry about Storage, the important thing is to get that inventory , making accounts is easy once you get the hang of it , and than you will move whatever you have |
| REFLECT | 01-19-2015 03:37 PM | Re: Amazon Stealth and FBA? I requested removal order as soon as I was suspended. No need to wait and have my items there. One thing I learned this time is to mark all the items at once and then request the removal order. This made just one removal order for all the inventory and it was back in my place in less that a week. |

I know, pretty stupid thing to do, should've research it beforehand... | This happened to me...I had 30,000 units in FBA warehouses and had about 1200 boxes returned to me. It was a NIGHTMARE.
My original Amazon account is now suspended bc I had the inventory returned at .50 cents per unit, so I owe Amazon about $14,000. Thus, I need to go stealth.
I believe that the FBA operating agreement is that bc the seller legally owns the inventory, Amazon is legally obligated to return it. They cannot keep it regardless of the reason. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:05 AM. | |
