Amazing how I got kicked off of amazon
 

Our response metric to customer went above the required "law" and they booted us. We had 15 customer inquiries and we did not respond to only 2 because one customer sent an e-mail twice and another was using the e-mail to sell us something. We explained this to Amazon but they never replied even though they said they would reply before March 20. Do I have any other recourse with these assholes?

Are you sure you were booted for "customer metrics"?

They will not like that attitude from you if you are fighting to get an account restored..... just saying.

It is just that I have quite a bit of experience with Amazon. I have lost accounts for several reasons. However, I don't believe they would be likely to suspend an account with no issues other than not answering two people. YES, they WILL suspend accounts that ROUTINELY do not answer customer complaints or questions, but not for just TWO.

So, my guess is there are other issues as well.

the metrics for customer messages being replied to can never alone lead to suspension.ive never heard that
however someones message advertising commercial stuff or taking traffic outside amazon can lead to suspension

Amazon will not suspend you for not answering emails and they state this themselves.

we had one rating - a five star. We had only one metric called "contact response time" that was bad and it was red but just barely over the warning mark.

do you think they used this as an excuse because they found out we had been kicked off already? We uploaded a lot of the products that we were selling on our old account - but they were fairly generic. I am concerned that we got booted because they found out about us but we have two other accounts that are doing just fine.

Here is what they sent us.

In case you didnt know. You dont need to reply to every email.
There is an option "mark as no response needed". Every time you get email which you dont need to respond to, make sure you tick this. You cant just leave messages unresponded at all.

this can be appealed .you need to provide tracking for the orders you shipped and number of days after the order you shipped and that they were delivered before the estimated shipping time amazon provided.Ive got this before and always ended up with reinstatement once you can prove that you completed orders on time

They can take more than 24 hours to respond to your appeal. Make sure your appeal is properly worded. You can copy 1 off google and edit to your needs. I have reinstated few accounts like that. Usually on your first appeal they will reinstate it unless the account is suspended for related.

Learn Ghost method - make more accounts - avoid relying only on one account (just fyi)

Good suggestion but the accounts are very expensive by the time we pay for a new company, registration, credit card etc.

Wording for your appeal will all depend on the type of suspension you might encounter

I suspect that we may have been identified but I sure don't know how. Here is what Amazon said to our appeal and they refuse to give us more information.

Thank you for writing. After a review of your account by an account specialist, we have decided not to reinstate your selling privileges.

We regret we are unable to provide further information on this situation. Further correspondence regarding the closure of your selling account may not be answered.

The closure of this account is a permanent action. Any subsequent accounts that are opened will be closed as well.

The first issue is you don't know why you were suspended. You should've first written a shocked inquiry wanting to know what you did

Then you write a follow you stating exactly what they want you to tell them. It's very simple. You can't argue reinstatement without knowing why you were suspended in the first place.

Yep.... Amazon holds true to their name.... They treat their website like a wild jungle and prey on sellers
