Re: can amazon detect VPS VPS is not recommended for Amazon stealth. instead get a new laptop + fresh IP. Either with a VPN or some other ISP. If you don't want to go that route, get vmware and create virtual machines |

For those who elect not to get a new laptop, seems like the next, best option is VMware and creating a virtual machine.
How difficult is this next, best route? |
Re: can amazon detect VPS VMWare + Virtual machines is not difficult. It may require an hour so of getting familiar with the program but other than the initial setup its very straight forward :) |

hi. Can you advise why VPS is not recommended? | Many VPS are abused and thus blacklisted or flagged by Amazon. Know one knows 100% sure on what Amazon does or which providers are but you can presume many are. Would you really want to risk getting an IP that was just used with another suspended account? No. Not a way to create a business.
You want a fresh IP which has never used before so you dont risk your account.
IP Burger and 24VC are both good options. |
Re: can amazon detect VPS I've been saying it forever...VPS are ****, WORTHLESS! Stop using them! |
Re: can amazon detect VPS ^^^ I know we're talking about Amazon... Which I have no experience with...
But what makes a VPN any different than a VPS running remote access software?
I havent tried it myself, but I know a few people that control there mining rigs with... I think its VNC for the remote software, and through a OpenVPN tunnel.
I use teamviewer to control my rigs, which I know for fact is easily detectable by the open ports...
But I would think if the connection to the server was through VPN it would work... |
| azsuspense | 07-17-2018 04:32 PM | Re: can amazon detect VPS I think it's good enough |
| RustyShackelford | 07-17-2018 08:36 PM | Re: can amazon detect VPS 100% amazon knows if you’re using a vpn. Most likely not an issue until there’s a manual review, even then a tiny factor. |
| mrowcp | 07-18-2018 02:04 AM | Re: can amazon detect VPS If we speak from the technical point, VPS (virtual private server) is more secure than every VPN. Why? The problem is that there is no way we can use dongle if we don't reside in USA and want to sell in USA. That's why the only option is VPS or VPN | Why you need US IP for selling in USA? I'm from EU and selling in US without a problem from a long time. |
| marimi | 07-18-2018 02:53 AM | Re: can amazon detect VPS Glad I read this as I was going to use VPS. I'm now going with the new computer and VPN. |
Re: can amazon detect VPS I used VPN for years with Amazon, the cheapest and most ABUSED ones! I even logged in from dodgy computers in dodgy countries without issues. |

VPN is better because your system fingerprint will be more unique |
| sussu007 | 08-25-2018 09:25 AM | Re: can amazon detect VPS Using dedicated IP (PureVPN) and Vmware. Completely new IP and VM, new CC with ta billing address never used before (my girlfriend's). Account locked as soon as I made first order. Can't understand what Amazon DE are doing. |
| Beautiful | 08-25-2018 10:45 AM | Re: can amazon detect VPS Could be the source of your IPs sussu007, or possibly blacklisted the cc you are using if its a prepaid or reloadable card |

And always remember to write down every ip address you login with your account. |
| Arzay | 08-28-2018 06:37 PM | Re: can amazon detect VPS Make sure you VPS is not used. It must be new and fresh window installed.
They have not such resource to check VPS |

Re: can amazon detect VPS I'm not sure I'm totally getting this VPN thing. I had an account that was using my home internet that got suspended. Created a stealth with a newly bought laptop and got a mifi + also got a fresh IP from IP Burger.
So could I have just connected the new laptop to my home wifi that's associated with the suspended account, then connect to the VPN? |
Re: can amazon detect VPS yes, you can connect to your home wifi then to the VPN.
But if your using VPN make sure IPv6, Flash, and WebRTC are disabled or blocked.
And use a VPN killswitch. |
| rookprop | 08-30-2018 12:50 AM | Re: can amazon detect VPS Only reason they would take time and assign a specialist to researh your VPS is for heavy fraud. Like over 1000 dollars worth. Other than that, they dont waste their time unless it tracks back to MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS and they really need to find the user to stop ongoing fraud. | | All times are GMT -5.
