Amazon Handmade TOU's

Hi I am wondering if there are any tips/suggestions for the new Amazon Handmade section they are rolling out. People are saying the TOU's are really scary because they can steal your designs and manufacture them. I am curious what the forum members here think about it. I am considering doing it but have never done amazon.

You would have a hell of a case if they 'steal' your designs and manufacture similar. In fact a massive case!

Someone on another forum supposedly had a lawyer look at the TOUS for the handmade section and that is what the jargon means. I don't really think they would bother doing something like that. I was just curious if anyone has any thoughts on it or about the Handmade section in general :)

Don't really want to discuss the legal side but if you haven't registered a trademark / design patent then you don't have a leg to stand on

If your serious about I agree you would need designs patents and a registered trademark at the minimum to protect yourself against the copycats
