I think he tried to sell what he believed was an identical model against the listing for the UK version, and noted the difference in the condition details. I took a quick look at Amazon UK and notice no Lenovo Laptops listed as "US version", which leads me to believe that you're not simply allowed to do that sort of thing.

I had to create the listing on the Amazon UK site by copying details from the U.S. Site.

It is very likely that electronics from outside of the Eurozone are not supposed to be sold on Amazon UK due to incompatibilities such as the power plug, and possibly regulatory differences and differences in components (such as the power plug, for one), not to mention warranty. People who purchase a laptop there will expect the proper power plug for the UK and not have to read listing condition details (which is NOT the place for this information, anyway) to find out about it.

You should have purchased and included the correct UK power adapter, at the very minimum, to get away with this. However, this really isn't something you should have done in the first place.

Well amazon allow you create listing's so I guess Shane is correct in what he did. Anyway, this thread has gone way of the original topic, so goodbye.
