| shane1993 | 09-19-2015 07:12 AM | Amazon stealth closed Sold a lot of high value items on Amazon till one buyer put in a claim without even contacting me (He didn't even read the description properly) so he wants to return the item and I accepted it. Now even after all these sales amazon closed my account and the account was on minus £467. I was using a stealth credit card and that has expired so I keep getting emails that they were no able to obtain the amount.
Should I just leave it? or pay the amount. I mean its not in my name and They won't re open it. |

Unlike eBay, Amazon does NOT close accounts without good reason. You failed to maintain an ODR (Order Defect Rate) below 1%, and that's on you.
Failing to pay back the money you owe is just going to make it harder on yourself and other stealthers who try to use the few working gift cards in the future. So, on behalf of everyone, let me say, thanks for screwing others over with your greed and selfishness. |
| Taking The Micky | 09-19-2015 10:48 PM | Re: Amazon stealth closed GOA, if amazon had ethics I would agree with you. But as they don't I totally disagree. |

Either you had a negative feedback, A-to-Z claim, chargeback, OR a claim that your product was phake. Somewhere YOU messed up. Sticking Amazon with the bill just furthers there resolve to keep the rest of us HONEST sellers off the site. |
| rfloubo | 09-20-2015 08:44 AM | Re: Amazon stealth closed Why don't you send them an email saying that whilst you understand and sympathize with their concern you are not able at the moment to make the payment. Further suggest that they contact the buyer and if the buyer agrees to send the money to you, you will send it to them. Thank them for using your seller services. |
| yankee | 09-20-2015 09:08 AM | Re: Amazon stealth closed Amazon is equally as nuts as ebay. In many ways more crazy and Amazon does not have fair business practices if you compete directly with them. One foofoo cliam buy a lunatic or competitor and your account is toast.
I personally have not shorted amazon but I feel no reason to pay them anymore than I absolutely have to. |

I clearly stated in the description that the item was American and the plug was 2pin not 3pin like UK standard. I EVEN WROTE IT LIKE THIS!!! But yet the customer wants to return the item because it 'wasn't as described" yeah right. I am definately not paying up now just thinking about it.
Yes don't you think I have contacted seller support. I have to wait a whole damn day for them to reply. I've been arguing for 3 months about it. Same answer was we will not be re opening your account. The heck |

Which part in specific did you do?
You must be a very brave man. |
| shane1993 | 09-20-2015 05:24 PM | Re: Amazon stealth closed I first stated that the customer read the description wrong and we were going back and forth about it. My last email to them was. I will not be paying this balance and I will not be using Amazon again. Thank you |

You listed against an listing that didn't match what you had and described the differences in the condition details. That is a huge NO-NO on Amazon. You CANNOT do that. The buyer is not stupid for not reading those notes; he just expected to get the exact item that was listed on the Amazon product page. |

I sold a Lenovo laptop with the model number on the title. This model is only available in the U.S. And since I was selling it in the UK I stated that in the description.
SO your wrong. Seems like everyone is siding Amazon lol! |
| ovidiu | 09-21-2015 12:40 AM | Re: Amazon stealth closed If the model is only available in the US and Amazon UK does not have a listing for that exact model, you are in the wrong. Amazon's rule is the same as any other retail-type store. Don't take it personally, but it needs to be the exact same item just like at Best Buy or Walmart. When you have a difference such as a different kind of plug, that makes it a different item with a different part number and different UPC. You wouldn't expect items on the shelf @ the local store to have notes describing the differences, that sort of stuff is for eBay. |

| ovidiu | 09-21-2015 01:03 AM | Re: Amazon stealth closed He said the power plug was US version 2 prong and not 3 prong as UK items should be, and he said he stated this difference in the condition notes. Therefore I am assuming, unless he provides an ASIN to prove otherwise, that this was the problem. There really isn't a reason a US model laptop should have a listing, by default, on Amazon UK. |
| Taking The Micky | 09-21-2015 01:16 AM | Re: Amazon stealth closed If that model is only available in the US as he says, then it will have a 2 pin plug. I would imagine he is making the customers more aware that its a 2 pin plug as its a US model and not a UK plug as customers would assume. I would imagine in the description supplied by amazon it would not state the type of plug. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:31 AM. | |
