Re: Banned After 5 Years
Why is everyone surprised? I believe him. I'd been selling for over two years with 50-100 daily sales, exceptional performance numbers and 99% feedback rating. I got booted after a single complaint (I guess?).
Don't misunderstand this to mean that I'd never had a complaint before, but this was a complaint on a random low-selling no-issue item (customer chose "not as described" because something arrived damaged).
I guess Amazon took "not as described" to automatically mean ⊗⊗⊗⊗? Or maybe a competitor simply reported it as ⊗⊗⊗⊗? Who knows but it seems that they either keep track of all complaints against you or all the reports from other competitors (most of which you don't even realize you are getting) and when you reach some mysterious threshold, they will lock you out without trying to figure out what's what.
It's a ridiculous system, which screws people over for no good reason at all.
