Clean Amazon account closed - need your help!
 

Hi guys...
Though I`m running several stealth accounts I opened a new clean with legit information account for a family member.
I`m not dropping any information so please save the unnecessary comments:
1. Phone, Credit Card, Address, Name, Bank Account, Tax ID, Legal Entity - ALL TRUE & LEGIT and NOT ⊗⊗⊗⊗!
2. Technical: Isolated Laptop(NEW) , New IP , New OS no cookies and stuff...
3. Original and Authenticate products - I sell them for 3 years already (but not online) .
Bottom line - ALL GOOD.
4. A lot of sellers sell the same items - I joined the listings.

I have this account for 3 days today - sold two items (one on the first day and the other on the 2nd day).

On the 2nd day I got the Account under review email from them which I left it aside so I could deal with that in the morning after.
Today - is the morning after and I got the "Selling privileges have been removed" , reason: "...we believe there is a significant risk that you are offering counterfeit items on our site" - I`m NOT selling china ⊗⊗⊗⊗ - my items are ORIGINAL and made in the US.

Now, I want to appeal ofcourse and I have never used these kind of $99.99 letter-writing-websites...

Any advise how to save my account? Again, all the information above is correct so don't reply with "you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗" and stuff because it doesn't help.

How can I prove them I`m selling original items? I already sent them the invoices in order to open the category.

I don't know why the words were dropped off of the post but to make it clear:
They said I can't sell because the believe I sell counterfeit items.

Then do whatever they are asking to verify your are not. Odds are Amazon could care less what you say because if they believe you MIGHT be selling foofoo then they dont want you.

Simply appeal and supply your receipts from the manufacturer. Nothing else to do.

That guy from Amaz**Appeal is great he will help u win this case.

But counterfeit suspensions are always hard, you have 10% getting this account back, sorry but this is the harsh truth went thru this 3 weeks ago

You know, if it was one of my stealth account I would have say OK they got me... but these #@#*! - the account is legit and offering a good original products - this makes me angry! well... I`ll try the letter...

I guess the problem is, you are a new seller account, selling at the cheapest price and the assumption is by amazon your selling counterfeit. This is amazon's model and I would imagine 9 time out of 10 they are correct.

You have to appeal submitting copies of your original supplier invoices and you should be OK. As you have only sold 2 items over 2 days it cannot be a customer complaint.

although there might not be a problem with your product but when amazon mentions counterfeiting in their suspension email there are very slim chances of reinstatement but do give it a shot

What are you selling?
That would help out a lot.

Could have been one of your competitors trying to get rid of you. They buy the product, then they complain to amazon that it is counterfeit, then they return the item back to you. Amazon just like ebay auto detects anything in emails with counterfeit, ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Automatically flags it. Happened to me from a scammer. Shut down my whole account. It is a buyers paradise on Amazon. They win 99 percent of the time NO QUESTIONS ASKED

It`s beauty stuff - cosmetics.
It can't be other seller since it`s been only 3 days since I opened this account - non of my two customers got it yet...
I think it might be the lower price tag I put on them since I was trying to do somekind of sale...

You CAN get the account back but only if you have a legitimate source of supply that is authorized. Amazon will not accept closeout dealers, unauthorized suppliers, liquidators, etc. If you can provide them with receipt and supplier information they can verify, then you might be able to get the account reinstated.

But make sure that your source is legitimate BEFORE you do this! Too many times, people have told me they KNOW their items are legitimate because their Chinese supplier told them so. Just because someone CLAIMS their merchandise is official does not always mean it is true. Who is going to admit to selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ copies???

Be polite in your email to them. If they do not respond in a reasonable time, you can email jeff@amazon.com to try to get a response. Explain that your merchandise is legitimate and that you purchase it from an authorized supplier and invite them to verify it. Jeff Bezos will never see your email, but his secretary (or whoever handles his email) will and ask someone within Amazon to investigate. If they can verify that your supplier is authorized then you stand a good chance of getting the account back.

In fact, it would be helpful if you could get a letter from your supplier, if they really ARE an authorized dealer. But again, if this was just someone CLAIMING to be authorized and they tell you the the brand will not verify for some reason, then it is not going to happen.

I can tell you two things I have learned.

IF you are selling below Amazons cost, they will think stolen or counterfeit

IF you are selling items that are highly counterfeited such as what you just stated it is even more likely for them to close the account.

IF you have manufacture receipts and submit them with the reason why you were selling so inexpensive you have a pretty good chance of correcting the issue and having a very strong new account.

Hi Guys,
I bought these items from the manufacture (US manufacture) for the past two years - now I feel comfortable to provide them all of my invoices ...the only thing is not working for me is that this company bankrupted two months ago... no one to contact by now.... I will provide them the letter and hope for good.

That might be even better. New old stock can be discounted more easily.

As long as you have the original invoices from this supplier you will be fine.

Have they still a website active showing they were/are authorised seller's of this product, if add the link to the appeal.

Though now I`m a bit confused - some threads on this forum and some websites that offer you an help with writing that letter tells you that the basic rule for this appeal is to admit and be sorry for your mistake ...and not, by any chance, trying to prove Amazon you did nothing wrong... Considering the fact I have only one shot - what should I do? Strongly provide everything I have as a proof that my item are legit or be a "good boy" and provide a strong "I did a mistake , I will correct it by... bla bla" letter ?
Any advice from someone with experience with that will help...

Ummmm....well, common sense is that COUNTERFEIT is an account deletion plus how are you going to be able to sell your items if you admit to selling counterfeit?

IF you have legitimate receipts supply them. Not anything else you can do. They will either reinstate your account or not.

Pretty much everyone has said the same thing over and over.

1.How do I attached files to the appeal? Can I attached links to a cloud document instead?
2. After the 90 days - the funds suppose to be released right? is it happens automatically ? Do I need to mention/ask them?

Its usually on performance issues you say you have made mistakes and will improve.

I have never dealed with this kind of problem with Amazon, but with 15 years experience with online sales I want to share my thought:

1. NEVER admit you are selling counterfeit. It will be a nail in your coffin.
2. Besides sending in all documents to appeal, you can get help from your buyers. Contact your buyers and explain the situation. Insist that your item is legitimate and tell them you can send proof (your documents) if they request. Ask them to leave 5-star feedback.

When Amazon sees that you receive good feedback from buyers, your case becomes stronger and you have much better chance to be reinstated. If you have buyer's phone number, try to call them. It's much easier to get sympathy through direct talk, if not, send message. Remember, Amazon can read messages between you and buyers, but don't be afraid, just be honest.

My last advise: don't sell brand name products with new accounts. These days, eBay and Amazon view all sellers as "guilty until proven innocent". You are proven after your account has received a good number of positive feedback and is old enough. Until then, just sell cheap, low-risk products to build up your profile.

You need to provide solid evidences (invoices, resale agreements etc) from your supplier. If you do that nicely, you will be re-instated.

Though, I already appealed after taking every piece of advice here... I hope they will accept my appeal since I provided them all the documents I have.

Keep us posted. If your account is reinstated, please let us know. If your appeal doesn't go as hoped, post a message after a while so we know what's going on. Your case may be the reference for future users.

Hi guys,
They asked for additional information 2 weeks ago and I gave them all - bank statements, invoices, images... what not? the truth is - there is nothing I did wrong - my items are original and legit... anyway , they got back to me two days ago with their denial to reinstate my account.
Now, the question is for the those here who have the experience with the appeal process.
Is there anyway by any chance to appeal / send an email to Jeff/seller-pre`... or something else in order to get my account back?

I never submit docs for Amazon. I spend less time making a new account than uploading docs and get to selling within a half hour compared to waiting.

If it was an old account with lots of feedback and passed several reviews, I would fight for it but only selling two items it would be a lot faster and easier to open one or twn more accounts, then appealing again and hoping.

For the life of me, I cannot see how you can make a new account so fast.
At the very least, you have to go get a new address and bank account don't you?


Don't bother submitting documents. They don't bother to read them. I sent genuine invoices from a genuine USA manufacturer, and Seller Performance kept sending me the same form letter about needing my invoices. I wrote to them (and Jeff) at least 20 times.

How long does it take to find an address? one minute or so? Hardest part is new phone number and vmware. Phone app takes maybe 2 minutes and VM a few minutes. Add bank later. You don't get paid for 21 days anyways and I always have surplus of bank accounts ready to go from all the paypal accounts that have never been used on amazon.

Create a new temp account while you wait. If you have other things going on the side, you tend not to worry about that account. You sold 2 items so I doubt youre worried about money. You can always cancel the sale if youd like
As far as the appeals on counterfeit its a hit and miss especially with beauty. Stop sending them invoices and stuff. You keep sending more, they will keep asking for more. You need to start calling them directly. It doesnt help much but emails go to auto bots. You will get more luck calling directly. It will take a few calls but eventually you will get through.

As for numbers and addresses. EASY. Talk a tone app. US BANK bank account with debt card which you can change the address online to whatever you want. Bam, Amazon account created.
