I have been having problems with getting back on Amazon , it takes me ages 1-2 weeks to open a new bank account with a credit/debit card.
Is there any quicker way to open a bank account ?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Fortunately i haven't had the problem of getting suspended from amazon however you are right they are very strict. So before anyone joins i would recommend forecasting long review periods. They also have high standards and expect sellers to ship out within 2 working days.

Keep us posted if deleting the folders that the flash cookies came from works for anyone else. There is always a way around and maybe this is the thing that they do different compared to ebay.

Im sure we can get back on amazon following a suspension from our home instead of taking measures such as going to the library or buying a new computer. Deleting the flash cookies folders sounds like its already working just need to know if its working for some one else aswell.

Come on guys, it's flash cookies for sure.

There is no advance tracking, it's just flash cookies.

Create a user account for your Amazon account, change your IP Address and go from there.

you need to wait 2 weeks before getting paid. i never ship on amazon until the money hits my bank first! don't withdraw more than $499 with zero feedback or risk having your money held for 30 days. start slow and build up. after a month you should be able to sell like wildfire.

That's true it takes along time for the money to hit your bank account. But i cant see anyone building a strong account if your gonna wait till the money clears before posting.

Amazon clearly notifies the buyer of the expected delivery time. If your selling a lcd tv for £350 and you make the customer wait 2 weeks plus for their item to arrive you risk receiving negative feedback.

To be honest i have 2 accounts with amazon. One for myself and another belonging to my business partner. My account is going strong and i ship out straight away. We try to do the same on my partners but we have removed many listings as the account is currently under review.

Aspkin is right its gotto be the cookies. They've got cookies in your system or some sort of spy ware from amazon. The computers round your place so surely you have more control over locking them out or removing the spy ware.

Dont know if you guys heard but a few months back amazon was on the BBC consumer watchdog for allowing sellers to sell illegal items such as pepper spray and knives. Ebay also came on for similar reasons last week. I know this ain't a ebay thread but i just hope they get such a bad name that everyone moves over to buy from elsewhere. A place where we will not be restricted to offer paypal and follow their pathetic rules

You just have to wait 14 days after placing a new bank account....so hold off on listing those pricey items until the 14 day wait period is over

You folks need to remember that there are at least 3 different types of Amazon accounts.
The regular "FREE" Amazon selling account - No listing fees or monthly fees.
Then you have the "Pro Merchant" account - No listing fees but $39.99 monthly fee.
Then you have the "Pro Merchant" account that is held by a Real Brick & Mortar Business - No listing fees but $39.99 monthly fee AND a few more hoops to jump through.

The rules differ for each of the above types of accounts.

I personally have a "FREE" Amazon seller account.
This is the one most folks here have.
You have the normal fees when a item sells + that ever present $.99 fee.
You can only list in certain categories at certain times of the year.
I have 2 totally different types of items I run on my account.
I have my summer items and my winter items.
It works out great. I have been there for almost 2 years.
I have never had to talk to a human at Amazon unless I personally called them.
I can not add a new item to the Amazon Catalog.
I can only sell items that are already in the Amazon Catalog.

I also run a "Pro Merchant" account for the Brick & Mortar Business I work for.
It took me almost 4 weeks to get approved for the restricted categories or Apparel and Automotive.
If your item does not have a true universal UPC it makes it even harder.
The business I work for has Private UPC's that only work at their stores.
They are not normal UPC's so that is another hoop I had to jump through.
I was on the phone with my Amazon Rep. for a total of 7 hours in those 4 weeks.
I also use the Amazon Seller Desktop Application to upload items as I have to use "Private ID" on all my items.
Amazon Seller Desktop is sorta like "Turbo Lister" for eBay.

So the rules vari for each type of account you might hold.

I did ask my Amazon Rep. 1 interesting question...
If I log into my Business account from home will it link me with my private account due to the matching IP addresses?
He told me that Amazon does not link accounts based on IP addresses.
So my personal account, and my Business Pro Merchant account would not be linked and the status of one would not effect the other.
Weather this is true or crap I do not know.
Weather my Rep. removed that linking flag from my account I do not know.

I do hope that this bit of information is informative enough to help but vague enough to keep me anonymous.

That is why Amazon accounts should still have their OWN computer user account.

One good thing about Amazon is that you list your items for 2 months and never have to go back to their site unless you sell something. Everyone keeps talking about the library. What if another user at the library gets that IP address black listed?

How about Wi Fi hotspots?
What is people's experiences there? Thinking of getting a WiFi capable PDA

lol
It can get frustrating when people don't read the forum or even the posts within a certain thread that they are posting in. I understand your request ebay killer however i think it would be a good idea to remove silly posts instead of closing down the thread.
