GREMLIN, the good thing with that is that the relationship usually goes
OK after that review period. You still have to watch refunds & item despatch being quick but they are more reasonable, imo.
Pint of lager, thanks

i don't know what kind of cookies amazon uses, but i eventually erradicate any amazon cookies on my computer with a cookie cleaner. i use firefox on a mac. i think they use a formula to figure out if it is remotely possible that you are linked to a banned user. i think it includes tracking cookies, ip range, banks used, names, addresses etc etc. It is possible to get back on amazon with the same computer using the same cable internet connection with a new ip....I do it all of the time. I do get linked when I slip up somehow but after a few tries I am back on selling and withdrawing money. I am never gone for more than a couple weeks. I do think delaying listing alot of items on your first day is best (i usually start with 1 item for a week after 2 weeks I have about 30 items then after a month I have over 75 items listed) and do not put the bank info until after the account was opened for a few days. Try to avoid selling more than $500 in the first two weeks.

Smile Amazon Help

I was kicked off of Amazon for "pornography." They removed all of my auctions but left the "pornographic" items and display pics and just marked that they weren't available-they never removed the items-just marked unavailable. Then 2 short weeks after removing them they were being sold again by other sellers! I've emailed them pointing this out, etc etc-just another tough luck story I know. First offense, too. Anyway...I started an Amazon Stealth acct and would really like to be able to access it at home. I can't use the library where I set it up (thanks for that tip TMiles2564 !) because of the heavy filtering that the library uses I can't list my "pornographic" products. LOL. At home I have verizon/msn broadband so I have a Static IP address. I'll buy a laptop if needed and use it at Starbucks or buy another computer for the house and use it primarily for Amazon. I need some advice. As frustrating as this has been, it's comforting to know that it can be combated in some way and that there's others out there A lot of the tech stuff is still over my head-but I'm trying.

Amazon.com has more personal review of accounts. That is, they have real people looking at flagged accounts, so it's easier for them to spot weird inconsistencies.

Just re-install your computer (this is the easiest way). Set up a new windows user for Amazon. Use different brower (but not opera). Credit card and phone number is just the same as ebay. Don't add any bank account at first. It will waste it if your Amazon account gets easily killed.

List one (your most popular) item at first and stay there for one week. Use different description. Don't list all the same items as your last suspended account. List something new, try to be creative!

First review will be finished in two hours. It means your account may be killed in two hours or it will hang on there for one week. Following up review may be triggered by your sales value or a machine calculated similarity rate between your account and the suspended one. What you need to do is to lower the similarity rate.

i agree with metroline 100%...this method works (except i don't reinstall my computer, i just use separate user accounts and cookie cleaners). whenever i list something new or different (especially in a new catergory), my account stays up instead of being killed in a few hours. go slow and build your account and you should be fine.

What are you selling? I've been on Amazon for 4 years, just one account, with several warnings from their bogus performance team. I've had to do some creative stuff to get rid of a couple negatives, though.

Lol, no prob ebaykilla. Quick tip, if you don't already know this. Don't use the item details field to describe differences between the listing and your item. They are watching that very closely now. Nearly got permanently canned for a couple minor discrepancies. Also, look into creating a little printout that effectively says:

I hope you are pleased with your order blah blah
Any questions or concerns let me know asap
I am here to serve you blah blah

It's worked like a charm for me. 200+ feedback, maybe 1 neg & 1 neutral in 6 years.
