| Kelly441 | 01-25-2016 09:58 AM | Account review Rolling reserve I've had this seller account now for 4 years and it has never been under review. Al of my metrics are very good They did not give a specific reason for a review so I don't know what I should say to appeal The only metric that looks bad is that I have a lot of first class items I ship with no tracking However, Amazon says we are not required to use tracking for first class mail
I need to appeal because I need my full disbursement to keep my business going at the same sales volume, but I am unsure of what to say since I do not know why my account is under review. I have done appeals before and they were always successful and usually got a response within the same day.
If I decide to not appeal, typically how long does it take for them to finish their review? |
Re: Account review Rolling reserve It usually says in the email how long the reserve is, typically its 14 days or 28days, My accounts just been put under a 14 day rolling reserve, ive had these before and it ends on the 14th day in my experience i just let them go and dont appeal it. Your money is then available on the next disbursement after the reserve/review is complete. This is just my experience though and im UK, could be different from US |
| Kelly441 | 01-25-2016 10:23 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve It seems to me that it is better to appeal. I think if you don't appeal they put your account under more scrutiny. Appeals are usually answered within 24 hours. |
| Kelly441 | 01-25-2016 10:33 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve This review was not triggered by an increase in sales volume It has remained the same for years |
Re: Account review Rolling reserve its all down to personal preference in regards to appealing, I barely sell on amazon so I just let it run its course for the sake of a couple hundred pounds and potential issues I don't need from amazon as its stealth.
Youre answering your own question in regards to appealing, you have your mind set on it good luck and I hope it ends will, your account sounds strong so you could win, keep us updated. |
| Kelly441 | 01-25-2016 12:28 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve I suspect it is because I do not provide tracking for liht weight first class items, which is permitted by Amazon I remember people saying in other posts that they do the same thing and their account goes under review, but the lift the reserve after an appeal |
| Taking The Micky | 01-25-2016 01:05 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Just send an appeal, state your account is old, good metrics and explain you don't need to enter tracking numbers. This is what I would imagine has caused the review and a bot does not understand as it will have shown up as a bad metric. |

Re: Account review Rolling reserve seems amazon put a lot of accounts under review.
especially this month. |
| Kelly441 | 01-26-2016 09:34 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve They lifted the hold
They do not require tracking on small items shipped first class. Good thing because it's like $1 more to get tracking on first class |

Hope all is well!
I seen your post about Amazon putting your account in review this weekend and today you wrote it's been lifted. So I'm in the same boat - account been good over 2 years now and this Saturday I got an account review email with rolling reserve for 14 days. At first I thought it's due to me being on east coast and us getting hit with a snow storm and for their protection they wanna make sure I fulfill all my orders as I did see the announcement from them on my dashboard in regards to it. My question is did you appeal or waited? I don't know if I should appeal it or leave it alone for now ?
Thank you In advance for your help! |

Thank you In advance for your help! | Well how are your metrics? Do you upload tracking for all orders? You have to figure out why hey would do a rolling reserve |
| deedee1 | 01-26-2016 10:57 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve My metrics are good tracking is 100% and delivery is in 98%-99%. How did you get a lift ? Would you be able to share a sample appeal letter ? Thank you |
| deedee1 | 01-26-2016 11:01 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve The only thing I can think of other then the snow storm and them protecting their customers is in the last few weeks I had a jump in my sales and people don't leave feedback :( in comparison to the amount of orders. I've signed up to feedbackfive to increase the feedback and out 300 emails they've sent out I have received two feedback :/ , but still better than nothing. |

I would appeal, they will answer in 24 hours Just answer all the sample questions and tell them what they want to hear |
| deedee1 | 01-26-2016 02:42 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Kelly, How long did it take for them to lift the reserve after you have appealed ? |

| deedee1 | 01-27-2016 10:03 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve So this is the response I got after I appealed and wrote a professional letter answering everything they've asked. I got an answer I would say like 6 hours after. I can still sell, but I only sell on the weekends so right now my account is in vacation mode until Friday. I'm stressing out and have been waking up in the middle of the night I can believe they put sellers through this kind of stress.
Any thoughts about what I should do or nothing really just wait and hope for the best ?
Hello,
Your account is still under review. We ask for your patience while buyers leave feedback for you.
We will send you an email when our review is complete. Until then, we may not reply to further emails about this issue.
Sincerely, |
| Kelly441 | 01-27-2016 11:14 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve If they replied that they are still reviewing your account thats not good |
| deedee1 | 01-27-2016 11:24 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve This is my first review of the account since I opened it. Why do you say it's not a good thing ? |
| deedee1 | 01-27-2016 11:26 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve This is my first review since I opened the account in 2013. I read in seller forums that people have received the same responses and it took 14-30 days for review to be over. Why do you say it's not good thing ? |
| Kelly441 | 01-27-2016 11:38 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Well if it was just a shipping issue they would have already lifted it
You know your seller account. As long as your metrics are good, you are not selling cakes and you give them all the info they need then you will be fine
Trust me I know how stressful it is when you get that little red exclamation mark
Hoping for the best for you, keep us informed |
| deedee1 | 01-27-2016 11:46 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve I definitely will , thank you Kelly! |
| Taking The Micky | 01-27-2016 04:36 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve One of my US FBA accounts went on rolling reserve last week, answered the simple questions and guess what. The day my disbursement was due the rolling reserve was lifted but my funds moved onto the the next disbursement date to be paid in full. Guess amazon may be doing this for cash flow. |
| deedee1 | 01-28-2016 11:47 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Thanks for the info, did you appeal or let it be? ... For now still nothing for me just working on getting positive feedbacks under my belt. |
| deedee1 | 01-28-2016 11:49 AM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Ow sorry misread that you answered the questions they've requested. Well hopefully this nightmare will be over soon for me |
| onlinehelpneeded | 01-29-2016 12:06 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve my reviews are on going for about 30 days now, nothing can be done apart from keep the feedback rolling in, just got to be patient |
| Kwatog07 | 01-29-2016 12:32 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Hi Guys!
I hope you can help. I received same email saying my account is under review. After 2-3 days I cant login to my account anymore. No email stating why. I tried resetting my password to no avail.
I'm suspecting that I traded for a gift card that was purchased using stolen credit card or debit card and redeemed it on my buyer account.
Any thoughts on how I can get my account back? |
| Kelly441 | 01-29-2016 12:41 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Your account has been deleted There isn't anything you can do |
| Kwatog07 | 01-29-2016 12:49 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Oh man! What a great news. Any other thoughts? I still receive emails from amazon saying I have sales so I think my seller account is still existing. |
| Taking The Micky | 01-29-2016 01:03 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Kwatog07, can you see your listing's if you search amazon.com.
If so try logging on with a different browser.
If your listing are not showing then your account is deleted. |
| Kwatog07 | 01-29-2016 01:15 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve I can still see my listings and I still receive emails saying I have new sales. I tried logging in using different browsers but still no go. |
| Taking The Micky | 01-29-2016 01:58 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve Very strange, trying clearing your cache cookies etc.
If your listings are visible then your account is open. |
| Kwatog07 | 01-29-2016 02:58 PM | Re: Account review Rolling reserve I think my buyer account is suspended and since I use the same login on my seller account, its affected too. I just hope they amazon will remove suspension. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:19 PM. | |
