Default Account review Rolling reserve

I've had this seller account now for 4 years and it has never been under review. Al of my metrics are very good They did not give a specific reason for a review so I don't know what I should say to appeal The only metric that looks bad is that I have a lot of first class items I ship with no tracking However, Amazon says we are not required to use tracking for first class mail

I need to appeal because I need my full disbursement to keep my business going at the same sales volume, but I am unsure of what to say since I do not know why my account is under review. I have done appeals before and they were always successful and usually got a response within the same day.

If I decide to not appeal, typically how long does it take for them to finish their review?

It usually says in the email how long the reserve is, typically its 14 days or 28days, My accounts just been put under a 14 day rolling reserve, ive had these before and it ends on the 14th day in my experience i just let them go and dont appeal it. Your money is then available on the next disbursement after the reserve/review is complete. This is just my experience though and im UK, could be different from US

It seems to me that it is better to appeal. I think if you don't appeal they put your account under more scrutiny. Appeals are usually answered within 24 hours.

This review was not triggered by an increase in sales volume It has remained the same for years

its all down to personal preference in regards to appealing, I barely sell on amazon so I just let it run its course for the sake of a couple hundred pounds and potential issues I don't need from amazon as its stealth.

Youre answering your own question in regards to appealing, you have your mind set on it good luck and I hope it ends will, your account sounds strong so you could win, keep us updated.

I suspect it is because I do not provide tracking for liht weight first class items, which is permitted by Amazon I remember people saying in other posts that they do the same thing and their account goes under review, but the lift the reserve after an appeal

Just send an appeal, state your account is old, good metrics and explain you don't need to enter tracking numbers. This is what I would imagine has caused the review and a bot does not understand as it will have shown up as a bad metric.

They lifted the hold

They do not require tracking on small items shipped first class. Good thing because it's like $1 more to get tracking on first class

Hi Kelly!

Hope all is well!

I seen your post about Amazon putting your account in review this weekend and today you wrote it's been lifted. So I'm in the same boat - account been good over 2 years now and this Saturday I got an account review email with rolling reserve for 14 days. At first I thought it's due to me being on east coast and us getting hit with a snow storm and for their protection they wanna make sure I fulfill all my orders as I did see the announcement from them on my dashboard in regards to it. My question is did you appeal or waited? I don't know if I should appeal it or leave it alone for now ?

Thank you In advance for your help!

Well how are your metrics? Do you upload tracking for all orders? You have to figure out why hey would do a rolling reserve

The only thing I can think of other then the snow storm and them protecting their customers is in the last few weeks I had a jump in my sales and people don't leave feedback :( in comparison to the amount of orders. I've signed up to feedbackfive to increase the feedback and out 300 emails they've sent out I have received two feedback :/ , but still better than nothing.

Your situation is different. I would appeal, they will answer in 24 hours Just answer all the sample questions and tell them what they want to hear

So this is the response I got after I appealed and wrote a professional letter answering everything they've asked. I got an answer I would say like 6 hours after. I can still sell, but I only sell on the weekends so right now my account is in vacation mode until Friday. I'm stressing out and have been waking up in the middle of the night I can believe they put sellers through this kind of stress.

Any thoughts about what I should do or nothing really just wait and hope for the best ?

Hello,

Your account is still under review. We ask for your patience while buyers leave feedback for you.

We will send you an email when our review is complete. Until then, we may not reply to further emails about this issue.

Sincerely,
