Account was suspended until I provide tax info!
 

I had my stealth amazon account for about 3 months now and it was doing good until yesterday when they suspended my account until I provide tax info. Anyone can help on which way to go?

Two ways, do nothing and stay suspended. Supply the info and get reinstated.

They do it at exactly 50 transactions and send a warning at 25.

You supply info or not. Nothing else you can do.

It does not work that way.

You would change the name to your new Company and Tax info.
You do not match up the old fictitious name. That would be impossible without making up a random number.

Your other options are to make more account but at the 50th transaction, always going to be tax limited.

Like paypal, amazon does not hold money for tax limitation. You just can not collect any more money.

Should I put the business name to match the name on Amazon? How about the address? What if I put my delusive address for my EIN, how will that work?

You can use any address for the EIN. Also, it does not have to match the address on amazon.

I personally use a real address for my EINs or my accountants/lawyers etc... but you can use your residence or a fictitious one if you really want.
On Amazon, you can edit the address or leave it the same. Amazon can not cofirm the address from the IRS, Only that the EXACT BUSINESS NAME or name matches the tax number.

Also, if you happen to add the wrong number ***cough*** you have 30 days to add a new one and you can carry on with that cycle for years on Amazon.

I just have one more question about if I "accidentally" put the wrong number, I thought that Amazon will not accept the number and says that it doesn't match! I know I miss understood you that's why I hope you can clarify this point.

Try a similar number to a know real one. Might take a few times but one will take. Then within a day you will get a message saying it does not match and you have 30 days to update.

So what would i enter as my real name if i am using this ein?

Situation is this:

i have an ein the name of the business is traders. How do i use this instead of my ssn? how do i use this name instead of my real name? Seeing that amazon asks for first and last name during account setup.

You already said that you need to load your business name and EIN but they also require a contact person name. Make it up or use the already existing name.

What is confusing?

ZERO relationship between business name and contact name.

Steve Jobs is not APPLE.INC. It would be impossible for those two to be the same for example.

He is saying that the name has to match with the EIN.It asks for a name,business name (optional) and EIN and if you put a f a k e name and EIN it will say Name does not match EIN, I have the same issue right now trying to complete seller registration so i'm guessing, get an LLC with EIN and use the real name that matches since they cannot connect you from just the name or at least I don't think they can and I'm just guessing here.
