So just to follow up I got another amazon email today:
Due to the status of your account, funds will not be transferred to you until all open orders have shipped and any amounts paid for A-to-z claims on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days from the date your account was impacted, which was 03/01/2016, but funds may be held longer.

I also got another one from someone at support... Not so brash after being told I was permanently suspended... These guys are very strange...

Considering your issue, I would be glad to inform you that these orders have not at all affected your metrics because of your timely issue of refund. The other two metrics "Contact response time" and "Valid tracking rate" are not because of your orders.
So, I would request you to continue doing the good work you have been doing and your other metrics would also be fine over time.
