You can either use your SSN or a EIN for Tax Setup.

If you've already used your SSN on a previous account you will now need to apply for a EIN and use that.

EIN can be used but since those are not so easily obtained the other solution is to forego those Pro accounts altogether and just spread your sales across multiple accounts.

Problem is you are limited at 50 transactions.

EIN's are not really that hard to get.

You can apply online from Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m and the process takes only about 10-20 minutes depending on how fast you are.

Hm, that's assuming that you have Corporation already setup, right? My experience has been that you can only obtain 1 EIN per person in your lifetime. Is there a way around this, or are you talking about something else? :noidea:

Unlimited amount of EINs. Some say you can only get one a day, but that is not true either. You can get one EIN for one type of entity per day.

How many companies does Donald Trump have with his name or initials on it? It is just under 500 if you did not know. All of course have its own EIN attached.

Most major Hedge Funds(EIN) will own dozens, hundreds and even thousands of EINs and that is an entity in itself.

Wow that's great, but let me see if I understand this correct. These are EINs obtained under corporation, not person/sole proprietor? I've tried to get a second one under person and it didn't allow me.

Do you form the corporation first, or just pretend that the corporation exist? I've heard that if you setup EIN under corporation that doesn't exist, even though it allows you to get the EIN, within a month or two Amazon gets a wind of it somehow and shuts down your account? Is that correct?

Something like this:

1. Setup corporation (ex Donald LLC)
2. Obtain EIN under Donald LLC
3. Next day apply for another EIN for Donald LLC
4. Next day apply for another EIN for Donald LLC

Setup 3 different stealth accounts for Donald LLC with each EIN and different address/cc/banks, etc?

No, not at all. Kraft Corporation owns hundreds of other companies. Each company is its own entity just owned by Kraft.

You can only have one sole proprietor EIN but it does not make any sense to have one. Most taxed, most liability and it is you.

Typically you get the EIN from the IRS before registering with the state, so I guess all EINs at one point are not yet companies...

If you use your SSN then 1) PP has that info on file forever (for the most part) 2) Why would you want them having access to your real info? 3) Debatable on stealth status even if all steps are followed.
