Thumbs up update on velocity limits:

No guys .
Their famous velocity limit starts at $750 , and as soon as you hit it , pum , you go under review.this vl resets it self every month .
I guess my last account never went under any review because of how caucious i was .went very slow , and that was it .now as you start getting feedbacks and time goes by , you build a trust .this is all machine review.if you do that , you will never even get a review.
After you first hit your first velocity limit , i think (not 100% sure )that the second vl goes up to $1500 or $2500 , really don't remember.
Once , like 3 years ago , had one account reviewd twice.
First when i sold over $1000 in like 2 days , and after the first review , i sold over $3000 in dvds and that's when i got the second, i just passed their 2nd vl.

And with all this knowing , i still have been getting suspended for years.getting linked .
I have 2 more accounts now running . I know better now with this forum , so help your selves with all this info .
We all know this is free ground gold to take.

homer7, i'm curious how did you still get linked after years of newer account. It seems like it's never ending with amazon to create newer accounts and start selling some other new items each time.

hey BTW I am not sure if I get exactly what " mean in your markings. 2nd month, for example, do " " " " mean you sold $500 a week or $500 the entire 2nd month? Also, ====== in month 4 is just space filler, right? you sold $1500 that entire month?

and by month 6 you sold 3900 the first week of month 6 or the entire month 6?

Amazon will automatically dump your stash into your bank account once every 2 weeks. You can manually dump your stash 1 time every 24 hours.

You won't even see an order or receive notification until the buyer has paid for it. You are expected to ship within 2 business days of being paid.

So, you get the money up front. The only hold is if you sell during your first 14 days. (there's a way around this even, If I can remember how...)

I'm not sure if there is even a way to post a tracking number within the Amazon system. I haven't found it. I always send the tracking via email, and only if the buyer asks. Never been a problem.
Hi thakns for a very informative post...

I am considering Amazon but my products are a very unique handmade vintage clothes line, will this sell well on Amazon?

the other thing is.. dont I need a paypal account or does amazon put the money straight into my personal banking account?

Amazon will put the money in your bank account.

When you make a sale on Amazon and click on customer details, there is a field to let you input your tracking and shipping carrier info there like on PP.

Apparel is one category that requires pre-approval. So, you should contact them first and ask them some obvious questions before you begin to list. If your items would be a beneficial addition to what is already offered, you are likely a shoo-in.

Paypal is useless for Amazon. Amazon has their own payment accepting system. All you need is a bank account where Amazon can send you your money.

what i mean is a month . Every amount besides a number is that amount of $ per month , not week.
The last month was the most profitable , but i got suspended.

And yes , i got suspended , not for the amount of money i made, maybe that was the reason they realise ; but the suspension email said clearly linked to another suspended user or so.
The only thing that could have done it was that i was using the same pc, with different user ids etc , but i still got linked.

The link is dead, but I think the book was free. Lemee see if I can host a copy and post the link here. Gotta find it and confirm the 'free'.

[update]
Dang. Well, I searched 2 TB of data, 1300 pdf files. Can't find the thing. I'll go on a web safari for an archived or cached copy.

For now, chew on this.
[end update]

[update v2.0]
Looks like the guy is now selling it for a small price.

But this is old stuff this ebook.
It says nothing about stealth surfing on amazon.
It is good , don't get me wrong, but only for the newbees on amazon.for somebody who never had a selling account with them.
