Listing blocked due to competitor. PLEASE advise
 
Hi guys,

We got one listing blocked and we believe it's our competitor who purchased several units and claimed that its wrong product/not as described.

This product has been selling for 6 months, no issues at all. We're brand and trademark owners. We sell via FBA only.

Could anyone advise how could we better reach seller performance team? What would be the best approach to sort this out?

If you have paperwork then send that to seller support, they should be able to unblock the lisiting quickly

I recommend reading cynthia stine's book. She's an expert on Amazon account reinstatement, and has a specific book chapter on dealing with /reporting malicious competitors.

Sadly seller support do not deal with these type of issues. Its bloody seller performance team who can only be reached via email as far as I know. I sent them invoices. Hopefully they gonna respond soon, its just suck waiting and loosing money :shocked:

I am gonna check this out, thanks. Issues like those make me wanna sell my FBA business

Share the email you received from amazon

If it's blocked due to trademark issue then no one can do anything apart from right holder who reported this listing

Seller support is useless

Yeh you have to submit detailed plan for this why this happen

I would recommend once it's restored create new asin as u may get issue again if someone wants you to get suspended

Are there any templates I could use to effectively appeal this "wrong item" nonsense? Also, will creating a new asin nullify all reviews and rankings?

They replied asking for action plan. Reason - Complaint Type: Not as advertised

Our listing is 100% compliant with their TOS, products are brand new, we hold trademark right and we own the brand, everything is spot on. How we are supposed to know whats exactly is wrong? Any advise would be much appreciated:help:

Well it does not matter what they want from you in detail why the item you sent was not as described and what you done now so in future this will not happen

Massage it a bit, but this has worked for me.

This is in regards to our listing having been removed because of a buyer complaint for “wrong item, product not as advertised”. We believe that the removal was in error, and request that the listing be reinstated.

In response to the removal, we are hereby submitting this plan of action that will explain what the issues are and how we will correct them. The issue that caused the complaint was from a customer who said that the item was not as identified. We have reviewed our listing carefully as well as all of the feedback that we have received for the product. All of our products are purchased in brand new condition and sent directly to Fullfilment by Amazon or to the customer directly from our fulfillment center.

Based on the above, we have reviewed Amazons terms. We have attached invoices for the ASIN showing the items in new condition. We are also including photographs of our product for your review. As you can see we purchased the ASIN from a legitimate supplier in brand new condition. The item description, image, and our content on the listing all exactly match the item that we sell. Nonetheless, our action plan is as follows:

1) We will improve our quality control process by adding additional checks to make sure that every product is exactly as described.

2) We will review our listing and feedback on a regular basis to make sure that no changes are needed.

Finally, we have also reviewed Amazons product detail page rules, prohibited seller activities, and condition guidelines and we agree to continue abiding by those terms. If there is anything else you need please let me know. Thank you.
