Updating details on eBay

I have a suspended eBay account however I have an existing one that is still open and has been open for a few years, I did sell a few things on there a while back but have not used it since. I have changed address on this active account and will be changing personal information slowly, my Questions are;

1. Does the old information I updated from stay saved on my account, for example if I was to call eBay and request a higher selling limit in a few months time will they see my old details?

2. How soon should I start listing things for sale?

Your old but changed info is retained by both ebay & paypal forever.

You are exposing your account to being flagged by changing personal info.

Hard to fool ebay/paypal.

Please read the forum, we suggest to NEVER call in for limits to increase. Too many associated hassles.

Further to the above I am curious as to how eBay ever linked me to a suspended account, When the new account was created I had moved homes, new internet provider, new computer, different bank account details and there was never a paypal account set up on the suspended account? How was it traced back to me using just my name?
