Default Unrealistic eBay fees paid by PayPal

PayPal (my automated eBay payment method) has just sent $55 to eBay International AG, being my seller fees for the month. This is excessive since I only sold about $210 worth of items during the month. Also, My Account in eBay shows that my account for the last two weeks stand at $53 on sales of $122. I think I am robbed but don't know whether I should be contacting eBay or PayPal. Any advice?

Welcome to the forums. You would have to contact eb about the fees BUT remember, eb also charges fees on SHIPPING total so that perhaps added to your total fees to be paid...keep that mind.

All the best.

Where do you guys stand on actual profit margins on your merchandise? As of lately I feel for me at least I've been doing 90% - 95% profit margins but I guess it depends on what we are selling. That 90 - 95% profits are after fee's, shipping.

Theres plenty of used "wanted items" that break the 90%+ margins, only a few legit ones that do too with "new" that i know off.

Did you check your detailed billing and see exactly where the problem is? Do you have a ebay store?
