I have the 21 day hold on a new account unfortunately.

I have payment being held of just over £30 with no estimated release date? Item was posted yesterday and has been signed for today by the buyer, anyone know when I should get the funds?

EDIT: Sorry just realised this is Australia paypal section.

Click your pending balance and it will take you to the transaction page, it will tell you the date of the funds will be released. Add a tracking number for them to release quicker

Have added a tracking number on Ebay and still says 7th Feb before funds are released on paypal.

Just to ad to this.

I have a 1 week old paypal account.

Started to sell on the 17th, first 11 transactions held/under review. Every single one after that is available instantly

Log out, wait a couple hours and log back in and check.

If youre taking payments from an ebay account that's not linked to the paypal in question it may be different on the time scale.

Check again, the dates might have went down, mines went from 4th feb down to 25jan after I added my RM trackers.:d

Have tried this still no luck, two pending transactions released on the 7th and 9th of Febuaury, no use! Do Paypal not have a live chat customer suppport? sick of sending messages to get an automated response, pathetic customer service.

Anyone else noticing it's getting harder and harder to get rid of the 21 day hold on Aus accounts, or is it just me? Not long ago the basic requirements of 25 items, $250 was enough and it got lifted straight away. Now it seems I have to sell almost 100 items before it happens.

I haven't done trials with AU accounts but could it be attributable to what you are selling? Any semi-risky items or so?

Its on and off topic since this is my main PP account but still as I was interested in the 21 day death hold of my money. There was one time that the buyer paid and before I even shipped I had funds ready lol.

I got mine taken off recently. I started a new account severalyears ago after the 'upgrades' killed my account completely. Never used it much, never sold much, but started to list recently with as many free listings as I could do. And Ta-da
Got this weird email about how great I was doing (I had sold 3 low priced items in a month) and that they'd been watching... I could do "Oh so much more" now etc.
I have absolutely not sold 100 items in the past 4-5 years, but now all of a sudden I'm Christmas. Odd, but happy the hold is now gonski.

this is quite common its called paypal jail my friend, expensive items usually go under review but the cheaper ones dont

Still struggling with paypal jail on a newish account (made sept last year) after 500 transactions, anything over $200 gets dinged, then a few transactions after the $200 get held whether they are $10 or $90, annoying.

Yes the hold of sales funds might be stopped earlier than 90 days.
Its all about the trust level of eBay towards you. Once you build other trust factors it is possible for them to stop placing holds.

I have a paypal account 2 years old.. Every payment now says "will be unlocked after you add tracking number" i am adding tracking to every transaction and all the money are still blocked.
