Hi guys, am I the only one seeing no more holds?:clap:

3 of my accounts which are not 90 days old no longer has holds?

i would check the date in your selling dashboard. They must have hit the 90 day mark.

Funny you should mention that....the other day i started noticing two of my accounts have funds immediately available when the buyer pays. Those are about a month old accounts. Wondering if its a fluke or the payment method the buyers are using.

Sometimes on accounts, if you ship fast, add tracking and get good feedback/dsr's then the holds come off earlier than 90 days on accounts.

paypal OZ has been coping a bit of flack from sellers.


If you have been shipping quickly, giving good service and getting prompt feedback, the funds are now being released quicker.

A welcome relief too.

How much have you sold on those accounts though? I used to always just sell 1 item on an account, get hit with the hold, wait the 60 days but usually they make me an established seller well before 60 is up for some reason (you also have to apparently sell 10 items but it never seems to matter), then get to selling straight away without ever having any holds.

This past month and a half though, even if they send me the established seller email, it means nothing and they still put the holds on. Was hoping this was just a Xmas thing so it would be nice if it went back to how it was now?

I can confirm I also have some accounts with no holds as of today and less than 90 days

Me too...only 3 weeks old and no holds since the 15th. Multiple accounts. Wonder how short lived this will be.

Also had one of my accounts get the 21 day hold lifted yesterday. first sale was about 7 weeks ago and have sold 9 items for a total of 495. BUt so far only had this happen to one of my new accounts.

Reminds me of when Paypal was allowing the one day transfers to USa bank accounts, so lets see if it lasts

I Wonder what happened to that US one day transfer, I wonder if they are still testing it on the Accounts they picked

I'm still getting sales in all Instant Payments, just received 4 payments , really strange since these are new accounts some not even a month old

Yeah not to sure on the one day transfer cause had i think two accounts that did it then stopped like after a couple weeks. Now that would be nice to get back :clap:

Still getting instant payments as well...my items are low priced ones, but I do have one that I just posted near $300 that I am sure will sell soon. We will see if I get instant payment on it or not.

I have 12 accts that now get funds immediately... some are brand new (aged 2-3 month) but 1st item sold LOL

We may see some relief now that the holidays are over. We need to try and figure out the new account age when holds go away. It sounds like it is no longer 90 days. Maybe 60 days?

Not even 60 days...there are a few sellers here including myself that are getting immediate funds on accounts less than 30 days old with minimal sales.

2-3 month old accounts isn't brand new. Holds go away after 3 months anyway. A brand new account to me is less than 2-3 weeks old.

Might be another test run like with the Paypal one day transfers, cause just sold a item on a three month old account that only has about 15 sales and didnt get the instant payment.

Loophole has been patched...all of my transactions today have holds placed.

Anyone else notice accounts less than 90 days old have holds removed? Noticed this on 2 of my accounts. At least in the category I am selling in.

All mine have been coming through as instant also on accounts that are less than 45 days old.


Its been since Thursday. The same thing happened last year where instant payments started coming through on new accounts and it lasted around 6 days

I should do a search to see if it was this time last year, but it will go back to normal

Ive opened 3 accounts over the last week and not one have holds on them and have instant withdraws, good times.

I only have gotten the one day transfer on more trusted accounts.

In other words I think the better your account is doing the higher the chance you get the instants. It's almost a guarantee to my knowledge once you get TRS shortly after you'll start getting one day transfers, although they might not be everytime.

I've found if I withdraw 2 times the second one always takes 24 hours even though the first only 30 minutes to an hour.

just had an account taken off the funds availability in late december after waiting 3 months. I logged into it today and found an mc010 limit message, phoned in and they reinstated me after 2 questions but then got an email telling me i had to wait another 90 days, because they're putting the account back on the program :(

I've had that before on two of my accounts, but nothing like the OP describes. I believe one was 2 weeks short from 90 days and other one wasn't too far off either, might have been 3 weeks or so.

Impressive stuff if you can get it off sooner, but in all honesty... If you have somewhat decent cashflow then the 90 day period is not THAT bad. The money you have in there is not that much anyway, as its a babybooboo account and you shouldn't put through a lot.
