Default MC018 eBay Listing Removed: No Item

i got this today, because they said i have sales term in jpg format! i did this because it is very convenient if we need to update all our listings, if we use text, then we need to edit our listings one by one, we have now 500 listings!!!

anybody know how ebay detects such violations? how could it distinguish product pictures and text. i know there is technology to read text on on jpg picture file. is this what they are using.

or is that if we do not write our email address on the pictures, then we are clear? why did they pick that particular one to pull off instead of others?

i am just worried because i am now a full time ebay seller, and all my listing has the same template. if they pull one off, more might be following.... help!!

Yeah, most likely your competition, but how much text do you have before or after the jpg? TO little text will get the killbot to give you a not enough description warning. I always ad some garbage text in white after the pic. Make sure any text you have does not contain kill words.

hi, thanks. we reported another seller for using our product pictures 2 weeks ago, they have been really anoying, buyers thought they bought the items from us. i think this might be retaliations, since they can always find fault with any listings by any sellers i think! ebay sucks!! we can't event protect our own legimate right! if we do, we are punished what so ever!! it is so ugly! but what can we do, forget it and let these busters use our pictures....

unfortunately, we never read the entire "ebay policy" before we built and uploaded our listing tempates, there are few text in the listing apart from the title and some features, all other stuff that is universal such as payment ,shiping,.... are the same and in jpg. since we have been doing this for the past 12 month without a problem, it really shocked me this morning when i have this alert from ebay.

i guess i might be just doing fine, as long as i don't bother the picture pirates anymore.

Cat and mouse game with competition - reformat the listing and pop your i.d. on the picture to brand it.
