Default phone number in listing

Just a quick question i signed up with a forwarded number on my ebay but would it be ok if i used my old number in the actual listing description (i usually have ALOT of costumers calling me and its going to cost alot having people call me every minute from a forwarded number)

Don't be silly!

You want to use your old number thats banned? on the listing?

This simply defeats the purpose for both buying the forwarding number and going stealth.

You aim is to avoid being linked - stick with the fowarding number i'm sure any costs incurred will be paid for easily by the money you make.

No way.

Everything must be NEW

Nothing to link to the old suspended account

you see my main issue is also texting. i get ALOT of texts during the day to, how would i go about dealing with that if i dont use my old number? I guess the best option would be to just change my number, again i have ALOT of old time costumers who have my number, dont really want to lose them either :(

...i just thought of this, can i simply get my old telephone number setup as the call forwarding number (not sure the local numbers these providers provide can be custom chosen), i can then setup a new number and use that to signup on ebay.
or alternatively get a unlimited talk and text plan from boost or cricket and just have that number used for forwarding (con, another bloody phone to carry around :D)

you think it would be cheaper to go that route or just get a $50 phone and a $40monthly unlimited text/call package

No way would I put my number in a listing unless you have a secretary.

So many spam calls you wont be able to get to them all.

Have to say number in listing works for me - saves a fortune on FVF and PP fees. You do need your own merchant account though

So an old suspended number is good to put on a new stealth account

absolutely not! - I use a voip number - one per account - and they all forward to my office voip which in turn forwards to my landline - I just use the generic "Hello **** speaking, can I help you?" and we go from there

Never ever use the same number twice - why would you?

Your reply hinted it was OK to use an old number...re-read how you expressed yourself .
