Default What is the best way to post pictures for your listing on eBay.

Hello, i was wondering if the best way to take pictures on eBay, if your selling an expensive item, is to post pictures with your user name and date and time on a piece of paper that matches your eBay account.

Does anyone know if this is a good idea? or will they MC067 your lisitng? i assume, since your proving your the real seller by taking pictures of everything with your username and date and time in the background so they know its legit, and who its coming from.

Thanks

Its best to post expensive items like that. But, keep in mind that they can MC you at anytime. If its VERO, even if it is real, they can remove the listing, no matter how much info you provide with it/on it.

Check out the other items that are similar to yours to see if they were removed or if they sold to see the success rate.

The main thing is to make sure that YOU are covered if you happen to get a nutty buyer.

Me Personally, I use PS to watermark the pictures. Besides having the pictures on the listing I also put the pictures inside my post along with the info of the product, I think it gives people a better look at the product.

well, i have posted expensive items multiple times, id say about 3 of the 10 times, i got a mc067.

so i am thinking, maybe add pictures and info in words on paper and take pictures of the product on the paper.

Does Vero find you because of the title of your listing or the picture you post?

Question is a little 'vague'.

Is it a matter of proving possession or avoiding a possible take down?

What's the actual idea behind all this?

Green Bean, basically what i was asking was, if posting pictures of your username and date in your pictures decreases your chances of being hit with a MC067?

@varld

If ebay want to suspend they will do so.

You would have to consider this from all angles.

Thanks i have, the only reason why i post and ask questions is, because i want to see who has tried what, at what angle.

i have sold on eBay a lot, at SEVERAL different angles, some ways are completely legit and i get away with it, some ways are still completely legit and stealth, yet i still get caught.

I have used Multiple pictures for the same listing several different times, never until this year have i had problems, hint that is why i am asking questions.

I mean i could just stop asking questions and just do the process of elimination.

.
Been no users recently that I can recall who listed like you suggested.

Helped one user about 15 months ago with the listing, and eventual sale of a LV bag.

This angle was used. User name, date, clear receipt, all supplied.

Like I said, this was months ago however.

On ebay uk, I know of listings that still copped the MC067
