Hello i was wondering if using secondeyesolution would work for documents, as im considering buying them to get around the id verify. Does anyone know if they work in Australia or do they check with government files or something like that and i also did not check to be in the Equifax's database. Any help would be appreciate thanks

From my experience, they will check but they don't rely on it fully.

I use it for the utility bill and it worked perfectly. But haven't tried using it for ID yet but I think it will work but if you want to try it make sure u say no to the Equifax and it should work but there's no guarantee so it's still a risk best of luck.

I used it on a new Paypal account with a passport and it worked.

Why dont you guys open PayPal accounts in a different country? From Africa i was only required to submit docs after my dropshipping sales increased by a lot. Before that I successfully withdrew over $2000 without ever submitting a document from regular sales.

With a different country PayPal you may be able to use the funds to "buy" services (fiver etc) from yourself straight into your payoneer account.

Maybe I'm missing something?

I'd recommend clearing out any money might have in older stealth accounts. It is likely PP will be implementing the ID check on ALL accounts over the coming weeks and if you don't comply then it will block withdrawals.

3 of my accounts affected.
The older one I was able to refund the last few transactions and recover the funds directly through the buyers.
The other 2 accounts no withdrawals permitted and no option to refund.
Insane

I have the same issues here. Does anyone know if PP will release funds after 180 days like the normal limitation or they won't release the money until we provide ID?

Thanks!

Hi guys,

Today i had one sale on eBay, as soon as the payment hit my paypal acc, it got frozen, asked to confirm identity. I've been on eBay for 3 years, all positive FB.

I then straight away cancelled the order, guess what, the cancellation was not successful because Paypal REFUSED to refund.

I had to contact eBay several times to sort it out, eBay agreed to refund the buyer using its own money. After that, I took all my eBay listings down.

So what Paypal is doing now, ask you to confirm identity, if you can't do they freeze your account, Remember you CAN NOT use the fund in paypal balance to refund customers or cancel eBay orders. Are they trying to damage eBay using AU regulations as an excuse?

Think about it, is it about Australian regulations or the war between Paypal and eBay?

eBay staff told me Paypal won't talk to eBay, they've been separated for 6 years, the new payment method coming soon.

I am done with nasty, ugly Paypal.

I feel that it just an excuse to hold on to money for 180 days or longer.

I am not too sure if they are going to release my money after 180 days. I've heard the new policy (something like PayPal's damages caused by Acceptable Use Policy violation) allows them to transfer all money to their paypal before 180 days.

Okay. Maybe file with AFCA - because even if they cannot verify your ID they are not allowed to hold on to the money. They need to forward it to the government after 7 years...

Do you think you have overtly violated ToS of pp?
