I have like 30 bank accounts lol, that is not going to be an issue.

They only asked for driver licence numbers, didn't ask for an image of it

I think if you log into bank through their system you get away with having to upload ID

I had an account suspended due to 'change in activity' which is total BS considering I made zero changes to my account, listings, or any sale for that matter!

I believe it was related to signing up for managed payments and entering f@ke DL ID, a few days after I received an email my details could not be verified.

I uploaded a photo of said ID which normally passes PP fine, but then the suspension.

Appeal process later denied, either due to eB incompetency or lack of valid ID.

Anyone know if they verify ID with 3rd party agencies yet?

Maybe I had bad luck, i'll see how I go with other accounts but not looking good.

Has anyone had any success signing up to managed payments, and receiving withdrawals successfully with f@ke info? if so explain your process how you signed up and what and when you were asked to submit additional docs.

At which point did you log into banking system to verify yourself, or is it to verify the banking info (i.e. bsb and acc no?).

I never had this option when I signed up for managed payments?

But later I stumbled upon a page in payments to login to my bank acc for verification, which I did not do as it was not required.

The question is were you asked to do this or did it yourself later? and does anyone know if they use this method to verify your name or just bank acc info?

If its to verify your name and identity then you can no longer do eB stealth, and these days are now over?

When I was going through the registration process the first time I had the option to either sign into my bank through their system or upload a bank statement with the bsb acc. no

I logged in through their system and it worked.

On my second account which gets activated next week, logging into their system didn't work so I had to type in my bank account details, do the micro-deposit confirmation which has all gone well so far.

real id, changed from stealth to real about two weeks before doing managed payments sign-up

We are not interested in using REAL ID though. Of course that will work. If your drivers license number matches their checking with the RTA database and you login to your real bank account there is no issue. Thats just a normal account.

What most guys want to know here is how to successfully setup stealth using creative docos for managed payments.

Created docos is not possible as your ebay details has to match your bank details.
Like their messages always says: "Update your account details to get verified". you may need to upload a photo ID. This is the only way to get verified, continue selling and get your money. Once verified and funds start to trickle in now you have the option to revert back to stealth. They may have your photo ID on file but its buried in their so-called "back office" they won't come back and haunt you. You're out of the radar, they have millions more sellers around the world they need to deal with having problems with MP.

They don't need to match your bank details. I manually entered bank bsb and acc number into MP (there's an option), they don't check the name matches your ID on file from your bank account name. I can confirm as I have mismatched names on a real ID MP managed account and bank account and pay-outs work fine.

However, I have not tested the method where you login via eBay into your bank account and verify your name this way, that will probably red flag you if it mismatches so be careful with that.

I have a Canadian ebay account but I am in another country now, and I have shut down all my canadian bank account and what can I do?
I cannot open any canadian bank account since I am not in there

i may have found part of my issue :au::au::au:


apart from the same name which shouldn't matter same ID still matters

i noticed with my 4g broadband stick with Optus i cheeked my IP address then unplugged it and plugged it back in and viola same IP address

but if i restart the PC its different or with another install of windows its different but i was unplugging it in and out though i am shocked
