i may have found part of my issue :au::au::au:


apart from the same name which shouldn't matter same ID still matters

i noticed with my 4g broadband stick with Optus i cheeked my IP address then unplugged it and plugged it back in and viola same IP address

but if i restart the PC its different or with another install of windows its different but i was unplugging it in and out though i am shocked

shift + R will refresh your cache on the page and show your new IP - no need to restart PC (thank me later)

Let eBay log into my online banking a few days ago for MP.
Bank account is attached to a real business and gave ebay the TIN that matches that bank account.
Now they want a scanned copy of my ID.
What would work well for me?

All of the account details are stealth. It's an account that I have used for years, but I have not sold on it for several years. Just came back to sell on eBay again gave them the same EIN and bank account that I used with paypal. Now they want a scan of my Id.

you can use your real details otherwise you will be suspended as they will run a credit check on you

Should I change my account details to match my real id, them upload my actual ID?

Note....my original account attached to my real name was suspended 10 years ago.

Can I change everything back to stealth later?

Thanks! I used all my real details and uploaded a copy of my ID and was approved right away. Planning to switch back to stealth in a few weeks.

So as Dom has stated in a thread or anther thread

as long as we use real IDs etc we then use our own bank account and this mismatch wont matter on name?

as long as don't log into the online banking portal part correct?

This managed payment is a joke

did a new account new IP the lot

i go to verify the account via micro-deposits supposedly a success

but 24 hours later im given a 2nd 2 lots of micro-deposits to verify with which i have fingers crossed it works

Any tips guys on verifying an account with just a Proof of Age card?

it is government ID but Ebay's computer-generated form fields are stating for a drivers license details or passport

the Proof age card doesn't have an expiry date :(

here in Qld the proof of age card number is the same as your drivers licence number. I'd try using the proof of age card number in the drivers licence section and see what happens if of course your state of issue has a similar system to QLD.

I believe it just asked for my ID.

But I updated the account details right before at my own will just to make sure everything was a match.

So...It's been a few weeks since I switched my account details over to my real info and uploaded my real Id to Ebay.
(Everything is working great. Thanks for the help!)
Is it safe to change the details back to stealth so I can use my real ID and account details on another account?

i did it yesterday

unsure if it will last etc but it didn't spit a tantrum but my ID is not good for ebay keeps getting mc1113 no matter how i try do it eg new PC and IP the lot new bank acct number etc

any tips i always use a driver's license but if i use my passport will i have luck ??

Maybe use a friend or family ID? Son, Daughter, Hubby, Wife, etc. I think this would be legal still since its direct bloodline.

So whats the latest news with Ebay Stealth in Australia?

Has anyone been successful now with F@ke docos? Is there an exact process and steps we need to use to get it past Managed Payments? I'll pay someone if they can guide me LOL

I've been doing steath for like 7+ years now with no issues - this managed payments is killing me.

Same...I am fresh back to stealth after a little break. I am in the USA. I did the following.

- Switched from stealth account details to my real details. (Should be OK if your real info has not been banned from what I understand)

-Uploaded a picture of my actual ID that matches my account details.

-Gave a real Tax Id # (for a business)

-Logged into my business banking that is attached to that Tax ID # through eBays Portal.

So far everything is ok and MP is activated.

Thinking about switching the account details back to stealth and reusing my ID and info on the next account. Waiting to hear back from this group to confirm that would be an acceptable option.

So I uploaded my real docs, got managed payments working, switched back to stealth. Everything was going fine, now it wants me to confirm my name and SSN or TIN. I used a real TIN that is attached to a business that my bank account is attached too. I can confirm that info, no problem.

Do I need to make sure the name on the ebay account matches the TIN?

To be clear, I do pay the taxes attache to that TIN.

We don't have SSN TIN in Australia, do you mean TFN (Tax File Number) or ABN/ACN (Australian Business Number / Australian Company Number)?

This is not required by eBay unless you registered as a business account rather than private account on eBay.

I don't believe these have names that must match to your account since they are usually associated with a business name and not an individual, but I a not exactly sure on what your scenario is and what they are asking...
