Maybe worth trying something else as a first listing

I will be doing this

but the thing is

i am having issues regarding ive only got 3 different names to use but all the 1 darn household address

other wise if i used a massaged ID i wouldn't be able to get a bank account in person X's name :(

ok

phone number and email different easy

IP address changes each time i turn on and off this USB internet stick

the name and address are the 2 common things i cannot change though any tips

Re: MC113 suspensions

1. Your IP address - are you ensuring its not been used before to access any other eBay accounts past or present? i.e. do you keep a log of the IP and check its really fresh each time? all it takes is one time to link you.

2. sometimes (many times) an MC113 can be just automatic and happens for no major reasons to new accounts. In my experience 50% of the time contacting eBay to reinstate your account can work, they ask questions on what your selling and qty and average price per month (you can say just personal stuff for now). There is a number you can also try calling which gives more success over chat (I think its through the help > hacked account area > you can get a number to call.

3. sometimes its due to similarities in listings (i.e. pics, theme, text, font, wording etc) and it could also be due to selling a higher value item on a new account.

I would recommend if the above fails, try creating another new account account and wait up to 30 days before listing, and try a few very cheap personal second hand items first to make 2-3 sales before listing auto parts.

I suspect auto parts is a grey area on eBay with a lot of scrutiny but I haven't experienced selling in this category so maybe someone else can comment on that.

If your persistent and thorough, I guarantee 100% you will eventually be able to sell successfully.

Edit: name and address previously you could put any random real address and random name, but since a couple weeks ago as managed payment is implemented now you need a real name with real ID as they verify it against gov databases to verify your ID name and DL or passport number exists (address doesn't matter). I am sure you will find a way to get that - its not too hard.

Edit 2: If all your ID's have same address, when registering change the address, they don't verify address against the ID in my experience.

That's what I used to think, so like you I didn't record the IPs. Turns out that, whilst it does change each time, it just recycles a set collection of the same IPs in that area.

So once I started recording the IPs, I'd notice about 10% of the time I'd get an IP I'd used months ago. Sometimes I'd get unlucky and get an IP match several times in a row.

WIN10 is not an issue, just make sure you use a diff profile with it's own browser profile which it will be default on a new profile - so you don't need to do or change anything.

Your question has already been answered... don't use the same IP from another account? it's quite obvious.

i started recording my IPs lol. copy/paste the IP into notepad each time. then each time i go on, i use the 'find' option in notepad to see if that day's IP has already been used. if so just unplug the usb, put it back in, repeat.

if you mean starting fresh because you haven't been recording any for a long time, well you could get a USB with a diff service (telstra, vodafone, etc.) than you're currently using.

but it's doubtful that this is your issue if your accounts are getting MCed everytime. like i said, it's only 10% of the time or so that the IP was a match. and that was with thousands of IPs recorded.

Re: MC113 suspensions

Don't forget those IP's are likely shared with others as well, can someone tell us the odd's of another random netizen using that IP on their account(s).

Anyways I read here that using the same IP maybe once or so on different accounts by accident may not be the sole reason for a limitation/suspension.

I should test out this theory.

Ok

you guys are a great help

but i am stumbling upon more MC113s

Have just formatted windows new IP then a new email

the same name though as I need the name to match the bank account don't I for managed payments?

it would be lovely to be able to create a Virtual Bank account in anther ID's name with no issues due to that would make stuff much easie r

I did not enter an address just created an account

surely first name and last name won't get you banned as there would be hundreds of Darren Smiths in Australia or for you yanks plenty of Jermoles etc

What email platform are people using?

This is getting rather frustating

Re: MC113 suspensions

Can you not try a different stealth address?

dom03 08-21-2021 05:36 PM

Re: MC113 suspensions

No need to format windows.

No need to match name to bank acc - they dont verify this if you just enter bank info manually and verify with micro deposits.

gmail is fine.

I think maybe its the item your listing, try create an account but don't list anything for a week see what happens.
