savings account on own bank account?

hi i was wondering if its safe and a good idea to use a new savings account from my original bank account which i used on perivous paypal that was linked to my ebay that was suspended? sorry i probably could have explained this better

can any one help me out here? i opened the saving account on my bank account i got a new account number but the same routing number to my checkings account could this be a problem?

That's fine aj - the account number is different - the routing number is not a problem; many people have accounts at the same "routing number/bank"

Don't forget to open accounts slowly over time and also spread out banks, if you can without incurring additional fees
