Opening several checking accounts - could this be an issue?

The last 2 times I opened checking accounts with US Bank, one time they asked what it's for, the other time they didn't. Particularly for those who are in the crypto/Bitcoin space, being kicked out by a bank for perfectly legitimate activity is a potential concern (if you're not familiar with the horror stories, search reddit). Where should one go for opening/closing multiple checking accounts and such?

To multiple banks over a few weeks.

Open 2 checking + 1 saving (say you want a separate checking for your wife or w/e) at 1 bank. Next week do the same things at a small local credit union. Rinse and repeat until you have however many you need.

If you've had accounts closed by a bank and left with an unpaid negative balance then you probably have an entry on your chexsystems report and you'll have problems opening bank accounts. You can get a free copy of your chexsystems report from their website.
