Default Using Wise

Hey guys,

As it seems Wise is fine with mismatched names. However, what is the safest way of sending funds out? Biggest issue is that if they see receiving account as risky, they just ban when you try to send to it. So, what is the best solution to send out from Wise?

I know from personal experience that Wise are not okay with mismatched names. If they don't like any aspect of your account activity they will freeze it and getting your money back off them very very difficult indeed.

Seems experience from it is very different across different people using it. Some say MM is perfectly fine, some say it is NONO

i have personal experience with Wise. For personal Wise accounts are not really good, they closed some of my accounts.. however wise business accounts are perfect even receiving mismatched name deposits.

Business wise works

Personal wise tends to have problems

Yep, that is my experience too. I suspect that most stealthers looking to use Wise are working with personal accounts because of legitimate business registration demands and issues - the same as their stealth ebay accounts.

IMO the movement of monies between accounts is going to get scrutinised more and more closely, the mismatched names issue we've seen with MP and some banks is just the beginning.

MP registered to a business is fine for mismatched names , sending out from Wise works with any account if it is marked as own account on wise and the receiving bank does not reject the payment

You guys say business Wise is fine. Any idea how to get multiple "stealth" Wise accs? As it seems some sort of business registration needed, and in EU it is not that easy as in US to spawn EINs...

Yep exactly which is why so many issues are reported with Wise and lots of people think it doesn’t work. Personal accounts are easy to get but don’t work, business accounts work well but you can only easily make 1/2

you can easily and completely legally open wise accounts in the name of UK LTD companies and each company would be entitled to a separate account

with sole traders wise have become very strict , they are now sending messages to people who have more than one account open in their name and demand to choose which one they want to keep after which all others get deactivated

Hello guys,

Do you think it is reliable to use Wise on UK LTD for eBay UK LTD, match details?
Before a couple of months eBay had issues with Wise accounts and online banks?

I think UK companies are the easiest to open , in the EU there it is possible to open companies in various countries but with higher expenses and likely higher taxes

I don't think UK companies can have bank that would work for EU ebay.

your question was how to withdraw from wise , that can be done with EU bank account as well , actual wise can be registered to UK company but unlike ebay they do not force people to withdraw to local bank account only

Question was about running a Wise account safely. I don't think I need to create a separate topic for every aspect of it.

I do not use wise, but can anyone tell how many account numbers they give to one user? Is it one bank account per one user?

they have become strict , more than one account with same details is not allowed anymore. you can basically have two , one personal and one business but no more
