one of my dsr rating is 4.2 should i start a new selling account?
 

i dont want to get suspended for low dsr. the shipping time dsr is killing me. canada post is very slow unless you pay big $$ for shipping.

i have 100% positive feedback with 300+ sales and joined in 2003.

would it be a good idea to open a new account an sell on that one and ditch my current account? Does it even matter?

p.s. i hate the dsr system, i miss when ebay was fun place to buy/sell. i pretty much hate the ebay experience now (used to love it). the high fees, when they started charging fees on shipping, that was the last straw (it should be illegal for them to do that, it is blatant theft). only reason i'm even using ebay is because i need to get rid of some junk i can't sell anywhere else (well i can, but not as easily).

No, do not ditch it but make a backup just in case.

Milk an account until its banned.

Try letting it cool down a bit (try selling locally to improve the shipping dsr) by building the other account and figuring out a solution to your shipping quandary.

cjmixers is right - rebuilding this account with small sales and keep it active. The account is far from over.

Make other stealth accounts and build them too - spread sales

I make a rule of thumb to fight to keep an account. I let ebay/paypal try to kill them. ( That rarely happens).

What I suggest is taking a deep breath first of all. Quick scream.

Then sit down and see what, if any changes you can make to your business plan.
